January Notes
* Buy Indie Press began! Each month this year, I’ll put the spotlight on an indie press and this month, I featured Flux, Spencer Hill Press / Spencer Hill Contemporary, SOHO Teen, and as a January to February transition, Algonquin Young Readers tomorrow. You can join in and tweet along using #BuyIndiePress.
* The 5 new winter TV shows that I am most enjoying are detailed here. Seriously, go watch these shows! You are definitely missing out if not!
* I joined Society of Children’s Book Writers and Illustrators (SCBWI) and on a personal note, it feels like a huge achievement for me as a writer as this year I plan on querying and it meant a lot to me that I join before I did that. So yay!
* My birthday is today! So that’s awesome! Yay for a much needed spa day!
