Top Ten Tuesday: Top Ten Books On My TBR List For Summer 2015

It’s Top Ten Tuesday, hosted by The Broke and the Bookish. This week’s topic is Top Ten Books On My TBR (To Be Read) List For Summer 2015. I focused on Summer 2015 releases.

Here’s What I Chose:

1. Under the Lights by Dahlia Adler (Releases June 30)
Add it to Goodreads
I feel like I’ve mentioned this book enough now on the blog that you should already be very familiar with it. Stay tuned for my review!

2. Go Set a Watchman by Harper Lee (July 14)
Add it to Goodreads
Given the bizarre way that this novel came to light (because of the literary agent drama), I am very conflicted about this whole situation but not conflicted enough that I won’t buy this book and read it as soon as it comes out…and I don’t know how I feel about that too but as of now… yeah… I’m reading this.

3. Armada by Ernest Cline (July 14)
Add it to Goodreads
This needs no explanation.

4. Self Help by by Miranda Sings (July 21)
Add it to Goodreads
Miranda was one of the first, if not the first YouTuber outside of YouTubers singing covers of songs that my sister got me into and I’ve been a Mirfanda ever since. As a longtime viewer, I am SO proud of Colleen Ballinger and all that she has accomplished through her work as Miranda Sings and can’t wait to see what ridiculousness will be in the book!

5. You’re Never Weird on the Internet – Almost by Felicia Day (August 11)
Add it to Goodreads
The Guild was on my radar during season one but it wasn’t until season two that I actually sat down to begin watching the show and boy am I glad I did. Everyday, I am constantly amazed by Felicia Day and all that she accomplishes and I am so pumped to read this book and hear straight from her all about this incredible success that she has built up. Also, I LOVE this cover. Love.

6. Daring to Be Myself: A Memoir by Laverne Cox (August 18)
Add it to Goodreads
Ever since Laverne first graced the small screen on Orange is the New Black, I’ve been wanting to find out her story from her and no one else and I can’t even begin to tell you how excited I am that this book is coming soon because interviews are great but there’s so much more to tell and what a way to tell it in a book!

7. This is Where the World Ends by Amy Zhang (September 8)
Add it to Goodreads
Amy’s debut, Falling Into Place was a stunning debut and truly one of the most phenomenal books that I have ever read. Needless to say, I am highly anticipating her follow up!

8. Evolution by Stephanie Diaz (September 8)
Add it to Goodreads
The conclusion to the Extraction series will be here this September and I am very excited to see how it all ends!

9. Dumplin’ by Julie Murphy (September 15)
Add it to Goodreads
In case you missed it somehow, this is one of my most anticipated reads not just of the summer but of the year. I read the synopsis and was immediately taken. I received the ARC at BEA among many others and cannot wait to dive in when I get a break between work and the new internship!

10. What We Saw by Aaron Hartzler (September 22)
Add it to Goodreads
I really, really loved and appreciated Aaron’s memoir, Rapture Practice and am highly anticipating Aaron’s debut novel!

What new releases are your most anticipating this Summer?
