It’s Top Ten Tuesday, hosted by The Broke and the Bookish. This week’s topic: Top Ten Books On My Summer TBR List.
My list consists of titles releasing this summer and titles that have released this year that I have yet to get to. Check it out below:
1. Landline by Rainbow Rowell (Releases July 8, 2014)
Thanks to Sarah snagging an audiobook and ARC of Landline at BEA, I’ve got the audiobook to listen to this summer! I CANNOT WAIT to listen to this. I plan to listen to plenty more audiobooks this summer and this will be the kickoff!
2. Behind the Scenes by Dahlia Adler (June 24, 2014)
It’s been so much fun following Dahlia on Twitter and reading her blog in the past year since I stumbled upon it so I can’t wait to finally read her book! Even though I don’t read contemporary that much, the summer time is my favorite time to read them (as you can see by this list which mainly includes contemps), and something tells me I will enjoy this one!
3. Isla and the Happily Ever After by Stephanie Perkins (August 14, 2014)
Speaking of contemporary, I still haven’t read Anna and Lola. I KNOW. I KNOW. But I’m going to read them back to back in time for Isla.
4. The Infinite Sea by Rick Yancey (September 16, 2014)
I really enjoyed The 5th Wave (review here) and am itching for more from this world that Yancey has created!
5. I’ll Give You the Sun by Jandy Nelson (September 16, 2014)
I’ve heard so many amazing things about this book and am so happy that I was able to pick it up at BEA! Can’t wait to read this one!
6. We Were Liars by E. Lockhart
Has everyone read this but me at this point? Getting to this one asap!
7. To All the Boys I’ve Loved Before by Jenny Han
This premise? Instant must read.
8. Promise of Shadows by Justina Ireland
I’ve followed Justina on Twitter for awhile now and finally picked up one of her books – this one. So I can’t wait to read it soon!
9. White Space by Ilsa J. Bick
This sounds like my kind of book. I sure hope it delivers!
10. The Fever by Megan Abbott
I devoured Dare Me by Megan Abbott last year and am really excited about reading The Fever.
Notable Mention: Salvage by Alexandra Duncan
What are your most anticipating this summer?
I really liked To All the Boys. I cannot WAIT for Landline and Isla. I just finished Fever a few days ago. I have to admit that I didn't love it, but I hope you do. Great list!
Reading TO ALL THE BOYS now and loving it!!
Ahh! Hoping I like THE FEVER. Only time will tell. Eeek!
