It’s the end of Upfronts Week as The CW unveils their Fall schedule! Also, be sure to check out my thoughts on the recent cancellations and new series orders from NBC, Fox, and ABC, and CBS.

Thoughts On Cancelled Series:
I am going to miss Nikita so, so, so very much but it was given a great ending so I’m just so grateful that us fans got that. I started out really excited about The Tomorrow People and then after a handful of episodes, I missed one or two and simply never caught up. I’m sure I’m not the only one who did this. It’s unfortunate this show was cancelled because it was a good show. I haven’t seen the original and any other reinventions of the original but this show was good and I was looking forward to catching up before season two but now there will be no season two so…

Star-Crossed on the other hand I did watch in its entirety and was surprised to learn that it was cancelled because I thought the show was doing well in ratings. I guess not well enough. That said, I kind of like how the show left off in its season one finale which has ended up as a series finale. I’m okay with it. Finally, as someone who never watched Sex & the City, I didn’t think The Carrie Diaries had anything to offer me. On occassion, I’d watch an episode back in season one just to see what AnnaSophia Robb and Freema Agyeman were up to and every time I watched, I was entertained but it just wasn’t a show for me. So I can’t say that I’m terribly disappointed to see it go in regards to my own viewing experience but I am sad for those who loved the show because I know it served its purpose for those viewers and was great. So long great CW shows! You were appreciated!

Thoughts On New Series:
I’m totally in for IZOMBIE and THE FLASH. THE MESSENGERS sounds intriguing. And JANE THE VIRGIN is a pass for me based on the title alone. What new series are you most looking forward to?
