It’s Top Ten Tuesday, hosted by The Broke and the Bookish. This week’s topic is Top Ten Books I Wouldn’t Mind Santa Bringing Me. This list can go on forever but here’s what’s at the top:
1. Vicious by Victoria Schwab
Schwab is on my auto-buy list and so far, this is the only book by her that I haven’t read so I’d love to read it before her next book, The Unbound releases!
2. The Kick-Ass Writer: 1001 Ways to Write Great Fiction, Get Published, and Earn Your Audience Paperback by Chuck Wendig
I just started reading Chuck’s blog this past year and would love nothing more than to have his notes in a book to refer to easily anytime I need.
3. The Complete Works of William Shakespeare
In an effort to read all of his works, this seems natural to own.
4. The Lying Game Series by Sara Shepard
I’ve read the first four out of six books in this series on my kindle but would love to own the series in hardcover or a box set if there is one.
5. Star Cursed by Jessica Spotswood
I’m itching to find out what happens next in this trilogy! God, I love witches!
6. The Chemical Garden Trilogy by Lauren DeStefano
I’ve heard mixed thoughts about this trilogy but want to make up my own mind about it. So far, so good as I recently read Wither and loved it!
7. The 100 by Kass Morgan
I must read this book before The 100 TV adaptation premieres on The CW during mid-season.
8. The Lowland by Jhumpa Lahiri
I remember reading The Namesake by Jhumpa Lahiri in college and have been eagerly waiting for another book to read from her so this would be the perfect gift!
9. Is Everyone Hanging Out Without Me? (And Other Concerns)
By Mindy Kaling
I planned to read this when it released but that clearly didn’t happen so I’m hoping to make it happen soon.
10. I Am Malala: The Girl Who Stood Up for Education and Was Shot by the Taliban by Malala Yousafzai
What list is complete without this story after all we’ve heard from Malala over the past few years?
What books are on your Christmas list?
Ooooh I totally forgot about Vicious. I would not mind getting it as a gift at all! And Malala's book is probably very good!
Merry Christmas!
My TTT
I loved The Chemical Garden trilogy! I hope you have a fantastic Christmas and get some great books 🙂
My Top Ten Tuesday
Such a great, diverse list! I have a copy of Vicious but just need to find the time to read it. It sounds so good! Wither is my favorite book of the CG trilogy but I liked how the series ended for the most part.
And yes to Mindy Kaling! That book is so funny. And I am Malala is amazing too.
Hope Santa takes care of all your bookish needs! Happy Holidays 🙂
Thanks for stopping by guys! I did get Mindy Kaling's memoir and tore through it. Loved it! Saving my BN gift cards that I got for January & February releases so will get to the rest of these books someday soon but not immediately. Happy Holidays!
