It’s Top Ten Tuesday, hosted by The Broke and the Bookish. This week’s topic is Top Ten Books On My Fall 2013 TBR List. Here are my most anticipated fall releases:
1. The 100 by Kass Morgan
I hadn’t heard of this book until it was announced that the book would be adapted to TV with a mid-season series premiere on The CW slated for this upcoming TV season. The premise sounded very interesting, almost like a younger, more interesting version of Terra Nova so I can’t wait to read this and watch the TV series soon after!
2. Not a Drop to Drink by Mindy McGinnis
3. Tumble & Fall by Alexandra Coutts
4. Marie Antoinette, Serial Killer by Katie Alender
5. My Story by Elizabeth Smart and Chris Stewart
If you’ve been following this blog since 2008, you may recall one of my first posts being about Elizabeth Smart. I’ve been following this case since the news of Smart’s abduction hit and am really looking forward to finally hearing about her experience in her words in a book format. If I had to pick one book I’m looking forward to reading the most this fall, this would be it.
6. Premeditated by Josin L. McQuein
7. UnSouled by Neal Shusterman
8. Allegiant by Veronica Roth
9. Champion by Marie Lu

10. The Walking Dead Volume 19: March to War by Robert Kirkman & Charlie Adlard
Even though volumes 16 and 17 were underwhelming, I still cannot wait to see what’s inside volume 19! If you watch the show but haven’t read the comics, what are you waiting for?

Oh, I'm also really excited for Not a Drop to Drink! I have ARCs of Marie Antoinette, Serial Killer and Tumble & Fall, and can't wait to get to them. 🙂
I had no idea an Elizabeth Smart was writing a book! I live very close to her, so her story is particularly scary to me. I'll have to get her book. I'd be interested to read her story in book form.

Ahh, so many great ones on your list. I'm super excited for Champion, Allegiant, Premeditated, and Not a Drop to Drink, as well! I was really excited for Tumble & Fall initially, but recent not-great reviews have me a little anxious. =S Still, I think this fall has some of the best new releases in a long time! I have seen Not a Drop to Drink on a lot of lists this week. I am not sure that I even know what it's about. I think I need to check it out.
