TV Watch Along with Melody & Lenore: Vote for the Show We Will Watch

Over the past year, I’ve opened myself up more to the book blogging community and boy am I glad I did. When I started the blog five years ago, I focused on TV, films, books, and music, the first two being the main subjects. After attending BEA for the first time in years last year, I found out that there are more book lovers who love TV than you’d think! One book blogger turned author who loves television just as much as I do is Lenore Appelhans (Level 2).

As much as we love TV, there are just some shows that we still haven’t had the time to sit down and watch every episode of, in order. So we’ve decided to do a TV version of a “Read Along” and choose one of the shows below to watch and we want you to participate! If you are participating, let us know in the comments! Whether or not you are participating, be sure to leave a comment with your ONE vote for which show we should watch and review starting mid-May. You don’t have to participate in order to vote.

Shows to Vote On:
1. Gilmore Girls (7 Seasons)
2. Alias (5 Seasons, Available on Netflix Streaming)
3. Dead Like Me (2 Seasons)
4. Friday Night Lights (5 Seasons, Available on Netflix Streaming)
5. Being Human – UK/US (UK 5 Seasons, 4 Seasons Available on Netflix Streaming. US 3 Seasons, 1 Available on Netflix Streaming)

Guidelines:
* Seasons range from 6 episodes per season to 22 episodes per season. Depending on the show that is chosen, the average goal is to watch 7-8 episodes per week. A schedule will be posted once a show is chosen. If you choose to participate, you don’t have to commit to every season but we do ask that you participate for the entire first season of whatever show is chosen.
* Each Monday, there will be discussion questions posted right here on Hollywood the Write Way. Choose any 5 of the questions to answer on your own blog or any 3 of the questions Lenore & I answer that week to answer yourself in the comments of Presenting Lenore or Hollywood the Write Way by the end of each week.
* There will be one question that will be asked each week which will be the opportunity for you to review a specific episode if you would like: What is your favorite or least favorite episode this week and why?

Voting ends Wednesday, May 8, 2013 at noon PT/3pm ET. The show we will watch will be announced Friday, May 10, 2013. The fist round of questions will be posted Monday, May 13, 2013.
