Wizards of Waverly Place fans and Wizards newcomers of all ages will both appreciate the story that this film has to tell as it definitely makes you really think about and appreciate your family and your existence while also including the perfect balance of comedy and family drama. What better a film to watch during the holidays than a film about a tropical family vacation filled with magic and adventure? While the plot is not completely original, viewers will still anticipate what will happen next in every scene of this action packed Disney flick which has some very memorable moment and one liners. Best of all, Wizards upholds powerful messages of course, all throughout the film regarding consequences, selflessness, appreciation, and respect. The cast was brilliant and were all used equally, the wardrobe was fabulous, and the production value is high…note that the movie was shot in Puerto Rico! What a lovely sight to see. Overall, the film just might be even better than the show which makes me wonder when the next Wizards film will be released as from the looks of this film, this is only the beginning. Wizards of Waverly Place The Movie is one of the best Disney Channel original films in quite some time and is definitely the perfect gift to give this Christmas.
Bonus Features:
Wiz Pix – The main stars, Jake, David, and Selena introduce viewers to a behind the scenes look at shooting on location in Puerto Rico as well as their favorite moments on set! It’s quite a cool keepsake for Wizards fans and a great gift to the fans since there are so many props used for the show, so this makes fans feel that much closer to the wizardry world.
