I have news!!!
I am SO excited to announce that my YA psychological sci-fi horror short story will be featured in the forthcoming diverse feminist horror anthology, BETTY BITES BACK which is being edited by Demitria Lunetta (The Fade, Bad Blood), Mindy McGinnis (Heroine, This Darkness Mine) and Kate Karyus Quinn (Down with the Shine, (Don’t You) Forget About Me)!
The anthology is an indie project being funded through Kickstarter, just like the first horror anthology, AMONG THE SHADOWS which Demitria, Mindy and Kate edited three years ago. I’ve actually fangirled about a couple of their books on this very blog before and I contributed to their first Kickstarter so it’s quite a full circle moment going from fan to peer. Thank you so much Demitria, Mindy and Kate for giving me this moment. I would say that it means more than you know but every author has those moments that makes them feel validated, so… thank you.
