Don’t mind this post being up a few days late. The past few weeks have been a bit of a whirlwind and you’ll find out why soon enough. In the meantime, let’s talk December releases!
The TV winter hiatus is upon us, however, we do have some pretty amazing things coming our way. Black Mirror for one. It comes back at the end of the month and omg I cannot wait! A new season of The Librarians hits TNT this month as well and that show is just oh so much fun, I’m so glad it’s time for another season. If you’re into really lighthearted fantasy, this is the show to watch.
As for movies, Star Wars aside, I’m really anticipating Will Smith’s Bright on Netflix, All the Money in the World inspired by the true events of a billionaire who refused to pay the ransom for his kidnapped 16-year-old grandson, and Jumanji: Welcome to the Jungle which actually looks like a solidly fun sequel. I know, I’m shocked that I allowed myself to say that. But it looks fun. I’m also really curious about I, Tonya even though I still can’t wrap my head around Hollywood making a movie about this woman. And then there’s Downsizing which has such a great concept oh my god BUT it stars Matt Damon so I’m very conflicted about this grrr.
Last but not least, books! Kasie West has a new release this month and if you’ve been around here for awhile, you know how much I love her work. I’m totally down to cozy up with Love, Life, and the List this winter. There are also few volumes of various comics coming out this month and I’m behind on most o them but whenever a new volume releases, it does push me to catch up! Anyway, check out the full list of what’s on my radar this month below!
