September 2017 Releases On My Radar

Fall TV is right around the corner, you guys!!! It’s almost here!!!! I am SO EXCITED. FINALLY. This summer has been REALLY boring without Mr. Robot, Unreal, etc… and a super disappointing season of Big Brother that’s been hijacked by BB alumni, Paul. I’m ready for my fall shows to be back! As for comedy, I’m most anticipating the September returns of Broad City, The Good Place, Superstore, Brooklyn Nine-Nine, American Housewife, Great News, and the final season of The Mindy Project on Hulu. As for dramas, I’m highly anticipating the September return of Scorpion and Z Nation, and I’m rooting for the new ABC series, Marvel’s Inhumans as well as the new Star Trek Discovery on CBS All Access. And of course, the Emmys is this month! Wooo!

When it comes to movies, I’m not exactly determined to run on over to the movie theaters to see anything this month. But Wonder Woman is coming out on Blu-ray and DVD which is definitely worth noting and stay tuned for my review of The Immortal Life of Henrietta Lacks which also comes to blu-ray/DVD.

As for books? My most highly anticipated September reads are They Both Die at the End by Adam Silvera, Whichwood by Tahereh Mafi, and Warcross by Marie Lu. Also, shout out to fellow September releases, The Girl with the Red Balloon by Katherine Locke and The Last Arrow: Save Nothing for the Next Life by Erwin Raphael McManus, both of which I’ve already read and loved. Finally, Axie Oh, who you may know as part of my CP group over at Writer’s Block Party, releases her debut sci-fi novel, Rebel Seoul this month! What a great release month! So many amazing books are coming out this month, so be sure to head to the book store to get your fill.
