So what’s on my radar that I’m super pumped about this month? Starting with TV premieres, I’m so excited that season 2 of Netflix’s Master of None will finally be arriving this month and the series premiere of ABC’s Still Star-Crossed is also one that I’m highly anticipating. Above all else though, I am itching for the next season of Syfy’s 12 Monkeys which Syfy has decided to air in its entirety over a 3 day weekend. I’ll try not to feel some type of way about Syfy rushing to get this season out so that it can then prepare to get the final season of the show out… Anyway, it’s May which means the 2016-2017 TV season is coming to an end and there will be plenty of season and series finales ahead of me so I should pace myself with sipping the tea.
As for movie releases, Everything, Everything is the only one that matters this month. I really enjoyed the book by Nicola Yoon and the movie adaptation looks great so this should be fun!
Finally…book releases! There are SO many books coming out this month!!!! Summer reading is near and it’s going to be a blast leading up to it! I’m very much looking forward to The Boy on the Bridge by M.R. Carey and Windfall by Jennifer E. Smith. I also highly, highly recommend pre-ordering Eliza and Her Monsters by Francesca Zappia. I had the pleasure of reading an early draft of this and 5 stars hands down so get that book this month and read it and tell me what your favorite part was when you’re finished reading.
