As per usual, after upfronts, I share how my fall TV schedule is shaping up. This schedule includes ABC, CBS, The CW, Fox, & NBC. This schedule does not include Syfy, USA, TNT, AMC, FX, FXX, BBC America, Freeform, HBO, Showtime, etc…

For those new to the blog, I plan to watch the Pilot episode of all of the new shows (in CAPS) below. After the Pilot viewing, some shows will be automatic rejects but most I will hold onto for a couple of episodes before I make a final decision as I know that pilots aren’t really a great representations of a show as a whole. By winter hiatus, I will have determined which new shows I will add to my schedule for the entire first season’s run.

For the returning shows, if you’re wondering if I really watch all of these shows, the answer is yes. A handful of these I am behind on, most of which I’ll be caught up on by the fall. A handful, like Law & Order SVU for instance I only watch if there’s a certain guest star or subject matter I’m interested in viewing. Otherwise, I’m caught up on the majority of these shows and tweet about, FB, and/or review them quite often. For TV reviews, click here.

As for cancelled shows, I’m bummed about ABC’s American Crime, Time After Time, The CW’s Frequency & No Tomorrow, Fox’s Pitch, Rosewood, Making History, and APB, and NBC’s Powerless. More on my thoughts about cancelled series and new series are at the respective links: ABCCBS, The CWFox, & NBC

The new shows I am most excited for:
ABC: Marvel’s Inhumans, Ten Days in the Valley, Deception, The Mayor
The CW: Black Lightning
CBS: Star Trek: Discovery, Young Sheldon, Me Myself & I
NBC: Rise
Fox: The Gifted, The Orville, Ghosted

Of the above shows, I am most excited for Marvel’s Inhumans, Black Lightning, Rise, The Gifted, The Orville, and Ghosted. What new series are you most excited for?
