I was just as surprised as you are when I found out that Xfinity had a web series. But it’s true! They do! Glued is their first original web series executive produced by Sharon Horgan (Catastrophe, Divorce) and directed by John Riggi (30 Rock) and starring real life married couple, John Ross Bowie (The Big Bang Theory) and Jamie Denbo (Orange is the New Black).

Glued is a comedy that follows a married couple as they discover and binge watch a new TV series. As someone who binge watched TV long before “binge watching” was a term, it’s funny to see the rest of the world catch up and even more exciting to watch new binge watchers fall into the cycles that are displayed in the web series.

There are six episodes in total, each ranging between three to five minutes, all of which I watched and enjoyed thoroughly in one sitting and highly encourage you to do the same. It’s not often that I watch web series but I’m really glad this one came my way and I actually took the plunge. Well worth it!

Side note, Comcast/Xfinity is clever for creating a web series and promoting their own On Demand TV within the show but that does absolutely nothing for the former Comcast subscriber and very, very happy Verizon Fios subscriber! Good try though!
