***
While season one of How to Get Away With Murder remains the best yet, season two did not disappoint! The writers are masterful as they continue to weave together the past, present, and future with an ensemble cast and have stellar stand alone cases as subplots.
Frank’s secret is out. So is the matter of the mystery surrounding Rebecca. We get some killer Wes backstory. Whoa! Whether you guessed it or not, there’s still much to explore with Wes – especially given the events that took place at the end of the season finale.
Along with Wes, there’s plenty to be explored with Annalise. This season gives us a plethora of Annalise backstory, Annalise at home (!!!), Annalise before *!@$ hits the fan after she meets a young Wes, Annalise after (SPOILER) she is shot by an adult Wes. There are surprise hookups and plenty of secrets and lies, guilt and redemption to go around. It’s difficult to talk about this season without spoiling so I won’t say much more but if you enjoyed the first season of this show, you will surely enjoy the second. The pacing and layers and build up to revelation after revelation….this is how great TV is made.
Season two delivered a handful of intriguing cases and one wild episodic case as well as lots of Famke Janssen who plays Eve, a former flame of Annalise’s and death row attorney. Season two gave us a serial killer and completely twisted lead up to the who. Season two of How to Get Away With Murder is sexy and cut throat and brought us some of the most captivating and absolutely fantastic story developments of the 2015-2016 TV season. So if you’re behind or want an encore, be sure to watch before season three!
* Bloopers (Approx. 3 minutes) – My favorite part? Viola Davis flubbing a scene due to a hot flash! Ha ha!
