Once Upon a Time (ABC) – Episode 503 “Siege Perilous”
Once Upon A Time wasn’t all that captivating this time around though I did appreciate the developments that were made, especially the possibility of seeing the purest good there is in Rumpelstiltskin! Oh, that is sure to be exciting! And Regina is boss. As per usual. What do you think?

Brooklyn Nine-Nine (FOX) – Episode 303 “Boyle’s Hunch”
I was cackling during the tarantula opening scene. Oh my goodness. Absolutely hysterical. It was great seeing guest star, Mary Lynn Rajskub (24) on this episode! She plays another one of Boyle’s prospective soulmates. Ha! If that’s the running theme for this season, I am totally on board. Hilarious!

The Last Man On Earth (FOX) – Episode 203 “Dead Man Walking”
Carol was in for quite the challenge, telling the Tucson crew that Phil was alive and well and nearby…right after throwing a big show about his heroic death in an attempt to change their minds about him. Phil really set himself back more than a few notches when he held them all at gunpoint to tell them he’s not the same idiotic, selfish, etc… person he used to be. The irony! Ha ha. Solid episode. I can’t imagine where this show is heading next but I’m glad everyone is back now!

QUANTICO (ABC) – Episode 103 “Cover”
Quantico is everything! It continues to serve grade A+ episodes every single week. I am loving the developments here. The secrets. The mystery. The betrayal and distrust. Everything about this episode was absolutely fantastic. Bringing in her mother and seeing her in a place where she really thinks her daughter was responsible for the attack…oh, man. Speechless. Phenomenal episode. So excited for what’s ahead!

Gotham (FOX) – Episode 204 “Strike Force”
Michael Chiklis (American Horror Story, No Ordinary Family, The Shield) makes his grand debut as the new Captain and whoa! What a big first move he made as Captain! Firing all of the dirty cops! Well okay! It’s about time someone get in there and clean house. And making Gordon second in command? Quite the successful return for Gordon too! It’s not going to be so easy taking down the Penguin though! As for Bruce, training seems to be going well. I don’t like how Alfred said what he did to Selina but I understand why he said it. We all know how this relationship fares, still seeing this is quite something! Solid episode. Next week should be another doozy.

MINORITY REPORT (FOX) – Episode 104 “Fredi”
As I’ve said before, there’s plenty of high tech stuff featured in this futuristic show and I love the pacing in which we see all that this future has to offer. I just hope that they’re keeping logs of all of this stuff for consistency and I wonder how long it will take, if at all, for them to run out of futuristic designs. I sure would love to be a fly on the wall for a world building session in the writer’s room! Also, kudos for giving us dollar bills with President Obama on them! Absolutely love. Anyway, Meagan Good’s wardrobe was dynamite in this episode! As for the case of the week featuring Sheila Van as Fredi, I enjoyed it but was more intrigued and captivated by the beginning and the end.. So, murky middle but I haven’t tune dout yet so they must be doing something right!

Scorpion (CBS) – Episode 204 “Robots”
Scorpion is just so much fun to watch, my goodness. I love the humor. I love the stakes. This show nails its storytelling and whoa, the stakes were ridiculously high this week as the crew found themselves at the lowest level of the sea. The sacrifices and quick thinking of the Scorpion team never ceases to amaze me. I thought last week was beyond fantastic so I wasn’t sure how the next episode would level but this soars even though we watched Walter and the gang sink underwater. Fantastic episode!!!! Also loved seeing Peri Gilpin (Make It Or Break It). This season is rocking!

The Mindy Project (Hulu) – Episode 405 “Stay at Home MILF”

Fortune Feimster (Chelsea Lately) and Garret Dillahunt (Raising Hope) on the same show? As siblings? Yes, please. I’m loving that we’re getting more of these. I hope they’re signed on for the entire season. Anyway, it was a blast to watch Mindy show Danny what being a stay at home parent is really all about! Serves Danny right, thinking his mother’s job was so easy. Even people who love parenting know that it’s not easy and fun all of the time. I wasn’t expecting such a solemn ending though but who does expect things like that? I’m hoping next week picks up right where this week left off or at least in the very near future. Will we see Little Danny again? Hmmmm. Great episode! Hope you’re watching this season!

GRANDFATHERED (FOX) – Episode 103 “Guys’ Night”
Gosh, I love this show. Have I said that it’s one of my favorite new comedies already because it totally is. Jimmy and Gerald have a guys night and I truly don’t know what was more hysterical, their guys night or seeing all the adorable mother-son things Gerald does with Sara. Quite noticeably, we got to stay at Jimmy’s restaurant and follow around the staff there for a much longer period of time without Jimmy actually present. I enjoyed the b-story in this episode and am hoping the writers keep up the good work so what they’re doing here continues to work!

Fresh Off the Boat (ABC) – Episode 204 “The Fall Ball”
Fresh Off the Boat was solid! I was wondering when Jessica would take more time to pay attention to her mother. Even though it took someone dying and money to make it happen, it happened. And that’s what’s important because she did learn a great lesson here. Who knows how many people needed to watch an episode like this! Then, there’s Louis who was looking forward to Eddie’s first school dance way more than Louis! Living out your dreams through your child! There’s nothing like it. But seriously, this was on the sweet side. Loved it!

SCREAM QUEENS (FOX) – Episode 105 “Pumpkin Patch”
Scream Queens was solid. Goodness me, Niecy Nash seriously has the best lines of the show every single week. What about that development with Gigi working with the red devil?! OoOo! I didn’t see that coming! Very much looking forward to seeing what else happens here!

The Middle (ABC) – Episode 704 “Risky Business”
The Middle was great this week. Aside from all of the laughs and Frank’s never ending midlife crisis, there was one standout moment. Brad! Brad came out to Sue and it was the most beautiful scene ever! Love. I love how natural the conversation was and the judgement free zone Brad found himself in. Brad has got himself a great best friend in Sue.

Modern Family (ABC) – Episode 704 “She Crazy”
Modern Family was hilarious which was great considering the last episode which was great but really, not that funny when it comes down to it. I actually laughed aloud a few times during this episode! We got a lot from pretty much everyone except for Alex and Luke so there was plenty to be entertained by, that’s for sure! I hope this continues!

Black-ish (ABC) – Episode 204 “Daddy’s Day”

“You know what, I’m gonna call myself an Uber because it looks like you about to get a whoopin.” – Resheida (Guest star, Zendaya)

I was definitely cracking up at Andre yelling at his younger siblings and telling them to go to their rooms to let Rainbow relax. It was hysterical watching Rainbow realize that her mother-son relationship was getting too be too much and she was grooming him to be quite the momma’s boy. Glad that got squashed!Hilarious Daddy’s Day concept! It’s funny how all of that happened and still, Father’s Day will continue to be the way that it is. I do wonder if in future seasons we’ll get nods to Dadddy’s Day happening again. Anyway, I laughed aloud plenty in this episode!

HEROES REBORN (NBC)
Episode 105 “Chapter Five: The Lion’s Den”

Tommy has reached a point where he doesn’t want to save the world and though he doesn’t know it yet, he can run away from his destiny all he wants but it will still find him somehow. After all, he’s surrounded by evos all day, everyday just like everyone else, whether they realize it or not. Evos and enemies. Then, we got interaction between HRG and second generation hero, Miko which was super exciting! The scene was short but full of action and everything I could have ever asked for.

Next, Luke went home and basically mourned his life, giving away his practice, I believe it was, to a dear friend and then setting his son’s room on fire which spread to the rest of his house. Oh, man. I can’t say that I was particularly moved by the first few scenes of Luke back in his home but the burning of the house really got to me. Door officially closed. He is an evo now and he is embracing all that comes with it. Finally, we saw how the world is going to end and why everyone is fighting so hard for that not to happen! Whoa!!! Whoa whoa whoa whoa whoa. Yeah, the world definitely needs to be saved and I can’t wait to see how our familiar and new heroes are going to do it!

Grey’s Anatomy (ABC) – Episode 12.04 “Old Time Rock and Roll”

What an episode! Watching the interns work and one particular intern deal with the aftermath of the good ol’ sleeping with the intern subplot was quite something. Then there’s Jo and Stephanie and Amelia. I definitely didn’t agree with what Jo said to Stephanie. Jo was completely out of line. Amelia was wrong for not believing Stephanie. Stephanie hasn’t given her a reason not to trust her so that was royally messed up. I’m glad she apologized to Stephanie. Better have. On a much bigger note, Callie’s new girlfriend is the doctor who couldn’t save Derek when he was dying and told Meredith he was gone? Wow. Talk about full circle. Wow wow wow wow wow. This is a big one. Wow. Loved this episode. Especially that ending!

Scandal (ABC) – Episode 504 “Dog-Whistle Politics”

An opportunity for Quinn to invite someone to become a gladiator and they see right through her? Ha! Quinn and Huck were schooled in the press and that was quite fun to watch! They are scrambling to handle Olivia’s scandal and it is glorious. Meanwhile, at the White House… the Scandal monologue of the week goes to Cyrus. Whoa! I love how he so humbly asked for his job back, was denied by the President himself, worked with Mellie instead, and then quit. Oh, Cyrus.
But the big kicker of the night? Fitz taking Olivia out on a date for all the world to see. Whoa. How will this go down, especially with Mellie prepping to impeach Fitz?! If you watched this show in the beginning and then fell off, this season you need to get back on this train because it’s ridiculously juicy!

How To Get Away with Murder (ABC)
Episode 204 “Skanks Get Shanked”

The developments in How to Get Away With Murder were stellar. I am loving where this show is headed and I can’t wait to find out more about everything! I also really loved the case this week about a teen who was murdered by her friends, mainly one because the others were too afraid to stand up to her. Try living with that all your life! Yikes. Also, Nate’s cancer stricken wife knowing about the affair and wanting Annalise to kill her to at least do her that courtesy…speechless. Fantastic episode. Love, love, love everything about what’s happening! It’s so twisted!

I think Annalise seeing Nate and Wes talking is the beginning of what gets her killed in terms of scenes outside of the courtroom with her in it. Possibly. Just one of the many pieces that leads to that. Because She hid Rebecca’s murder and Wes knows how to dig for answers…who better to help him than Nate, the person Annalise placed all the blame on during the first murder? What do you think? Finally, is Michaela living with Caleb now? We all knew that they would end up romantically linked because that’s what they were building up to and let us see they were building up to…but is she just visiting him because she was supposed to go see him the night Annalise is almost killed or are they living together? So many questions!

Haven – Episode 5.15 “Power” and 5.16 “The Trial of Nathan Wuornos”
I didn’t realize that the previous week aired a two hour return instead of one so I finally got to watching Episode 5.15 which actually felt like it fit better with episode 5.16 than 5.14. Regardless, the trouble and conflict in 5.15 didn’t really captivate me however the conclusion of it in 5.16 was satisfying. I also really enjoyed the developments with Duke which, oddly enough was more captivating than the whole, “We should put Nathan on trial” story line. Hmm. Anyway, now that they’re all out of the boring darkness, let’s get back to what’s important before the series finale!

Z Nation (Syfy) – Episode 206 “Zombie Baby Daddy”
I was cracking up a lot watching this episode! From Doc saying, “Oh good, you see them too,” about the bus full of Abe Lincoln cosplayers to Murphy’s crack about Lincoln! On the serious side, Warren is rightfully bent on trying to figure out if Warren’s half zombie baby is a good thing or bad thing. I’m sitting here wondering if the baby grew so fast and didn’t take 9 months to be birthed, will it continue to grow at a rapid rate? And is that seriously the end of the baby storyline, Murphy giving it up to a family he runs into? Seems too easy in that, the baby will indeed be helpful if they ever make it to Citizen Z.

Then there’s Warren realizing that Vasquez may be a traitor soon discovering that he’s not. I love that we’re still getting to know backstory. The best moment of this episode? 10K killing Cassandra was very much needed but also very sad considering she still had a little bit of human qualities in her and she was part of the gang. But boy am I glad that’s over! It seems like the writers had a good handle on how long the viewers would tolerate certain things. Ha ha. Great episode.
