Final Four!! This week, the artists met host, McKenzie Westmore at the Paramount ranch western town to mark the 50th anniversary of The Wild Wild West. The challenge? They had to reimagine a classic western character as a steampunk cyborg. Cyborg? Yes, please. Steampunk? Hit or miss for me. Western? Altogether pass though I do appreciate a few of the elements within this genre. So. This mash up was quite something else to say the least. I wasn’t excited about this challenge at all but I was very intrigued by this challenge being such a huge challenge for the final four as some of them weren’t quite feeling all of these elements in one challenge as well. But none of them fell under pressure and they all dove into the unknown and put forth their best.

Come to time for the reveal stage? Emily did a fabulous job. She was my absolute favorite. Julian did an awesome job bringing the western feel to the cyborg and steampunk worlds. I think Logan’s creation was definitely a beauty. Darla’s was interesting – in a good way. In so many ways, it fit perfectly but in others, it just didn’t wow me. Though it was still pretty great. So, no losers this week…well, except for the person who was eliminated ha ha.

The winner of the challenge? Emily!!! Yes!!! Not only are my favorites, Emily and Darla heading to the finale but Logan is from Team Rayce so there’s not just one team fighting in the finale – which actually makes things weirdly all the more exciting. I am so excited for the finale next Tuesday which is so big that the entire eliminated cast came back to help out. Wow! Can’t wait to see what the finale brings!
