Final Five!!! We are here! So who do I want to see win this competition? Darla or Emily though Darla would be fantastic!!! Either way, Team Laura!!! Yeah!!! Who are you rooting for?

This week, the artists met host, McKenzie Westmore at the Bob Baker Marionette Theater to get their spotlight challenge. The artists had to create an original evil, demonic character inspired by a classic doll. Julian chose the ventriloquist doll. Adam picked a baby doll. Emily chose a rag doll. Darla picked a porcelain doll. Logan chose the voodoo doll. Based on the options here, I was most excited to see basically everything except the voodoo doll.

This week’s guest judge was Don Mancini (Child’s Play, Bride of Chucky). The absolute perfect guest judge this week. Nailed it! So, the reveal stage… Julian’s creation was super creepy! Talk about nightmares! Logan’s was alright. Darla’s was fantastic! Creep! Creep! Creepy!!!! Adam’s was good but not a favorite. Emily’s was wonderful though there were some things I wished were different. So my favorites were Julian and Darla with Emily being safe.

The judges loved Logan, Emily, and Darla’s creations and were so excited about Darla’s look that I just knew she was going to win this competition. Emily and Darla were the favorites and as expected, Darla took the win! Woot! They weren’t fans of Julian and Adam’s creations though and I completely understand why Adam was eliminated but I didn’t want him to go! Nooo. This is probably the first huge upset of the season for me (which is great since it’s coming so late in the season) but oh my goodness, ahhh I am going to miss him. Hopefully it’s not too long before we see his work on the small screen again and big screen!
