This week, the contestants headed to Whiskey A Go Go to get their spotlight challenge, inspired by this week’s guest, Horror Legend, Clive Barker (Candyman, Hellraiser). The challenge? The artists had to choose one of the futuristic outfits on stage to use as inspiration for a stylish and intelligent horror villain. By choosing the outfit, they would also be choosing their model wearing the outfit. That model would be wearing the outfit on the reveal stage as well so it was all very inclusive from the beginning this time around which I loved. I also loved that this challenge dealt with 1) fashion and 2) the future. Yes!!!

So in the lab, Stephanie was having trouble in the beginning and that had me worried for a bit. On day two, Adam’s mold cracked so it wasn’t looking good for him. On day 3, Kelly’s face messed up overnight. There were quite a lot of issues with this challenge.

My favorites were Adam, Ben, and Kelly with notable mentions to Logan and Julian. The judges favorites were Julian, Emily, Kelly, and Ben with the winner being Ben. The judges bottom looks were Stephanie and Jamie with Jamie being eliminated. I thought Stephanie was going to get the boot but either way, it’s sad because I just don’t want anyone to go! But it’s a competition so…onto next week! Can’t wait to see what next week’s challenge is! And shout out to Laura who still has four people in the competition! Woot woot!!! Team Laura!!!
