GALAVANT (ABC) Episodes 1.03 “Two Balls” & 1.04 “Comedy Gold”
“I wish you were my cousins so I could marry you.” – Commoner
“That’s so sweet!” – Sid
It was quite comical watching Sid return home and that was significantly more interesting than King Richard throwing a ball. Easily. Much more entertaining since Sid’s deception caused quite a stir. Fun episode!
“Please teach me to funny. I’m begging you.” – King Richard
In episode four, Galavant, Isabella and Sid are put in quite a predicament when they run into pirates and have to put aside their squabbles and work together. This episode wasn’t as engaging or memorable to me as the previous episode but it still had its comical moments.
Resurrection (ABC) – Episode 2.11 “True Believer”
It hit me in this episode that I’m ready to let this show go. I haven’t enjoyed this show thoroughly for the past few weeks. This episode was more engrossing than others but the show is going in more circles than I can take and isn’t going anywhere so I’m going to be taking this off my watch list.

Castle (ABC) – Episode 7.11 “Castle, P.I.”
This episode was so much fun! I love that Castle got his P.I. license because he just couldn’t fathom not being on the cases. It was fun when the investigating became a competition between Castle and Kate and I’m very interested in seeing what the rest of the season will bring now that the two are married. Because when they got together, Kate got pretty soft so I’m hoping the new dynamic doesn’t drastically change the show again and seem almost out of character and a bit too much. Only time will well. But this right here was a great episode.
New Girl (Fox) – Episode 4.13 “Coming Out”
I don’t know how I feel about an entire episode dedicated to Jess and Ryan coming out with their relationship at work. I understand it 100% but I personally didn’t need it. That said, this episode was quite entertaining and it was as awkward and hilarious as you’d might expect.
The Mindy Project (Fox) – Episode 3.13 “San Francisco Bae”
There was so much funny packed into this episode. Mindy getting ready for a night out only to stumble upon what she thinks is a crying girl. Mindy thinking a loan collector has come for her at a bar. Mindy reuniting with Xander/Alex (guest star, Lee Pace!!!), who lost his virginity to her. Discovering that medically speaking, Mindy lost hers in a trampoline accident. Chrissy Teigen randomly guest starring as Alex’s girlfriend! Krale chips! Ha! Oh man, this episode was great. I loved it. Can’t wait for the next one!
Switched at Birth (ABC Family) – Episode 4.02 “Bracing the Waves”
It’s been awhile since I really felt for Daphne but this episode nailed the empathy factor for me. I’m not all that interested in the long distance relationship of Bay and Emmett so that storyline was boring. And everything else was filler. This week was all about Daphne and I loved how well executed it was. Looking forward to see what other challenges she faces as time goes on.

Cougar Town (TBS) – Episode 6.02 “Full Grown Boy”
Baby names! That’s all I really cared about in this episode. Even though the names Laurie had picked out were beyond ridiculous, I didn’t mind watching the silliness of this episode as it led up to the sweet moment at the end when Laurie gave birth and we discovered the name of their boy was named after Bobby. That’s pretty adorable (even though I go back and forth between finding Laurie and Travis tolerable as a couple and then the two as completely bizarre).
The Middle (ABC) – Episode 6.11 “A Quarry Story”
I love this episode simply because we get to see Sue get in trouble. The fact that she was more innocent than most even in the predicament she found herself in aside, I loved how this episode played out and I really appreciated what the writers did for Sue and Mike all around.
Modern Family (ABC) – Episode 6.12 “The Big Guns”
This is probably the first episode of this season that didn’t garner a laugh from me. I did enjoy seeing Andrea Anders again but other than that, I wasn’t all that engrossed in this episode. It’s definitely forgettable.
BLACK-ISH (ABC) – Episode 1.12 “Martin Luther Skiing Day”
This week’s episode garnered a few laughs and was memorable looking back but for the most part wasn’t as entertaining as other episodes that we’ve seen so far. I must say thought that I did love that the entire episode revolved around a black family going skiing. Go, writers!!! That was brilliant.
Parenthood (NBC) – Episode 6.11 “Let’s Go Home”
Yes. Starting off with Joel and Julia was perfection. I am so, so, so, so, so glad that these two are back together. You know how much I hated seeing these two apart. Though the most touching part of the episode was easily when Zeek and Camille went to their old house when Zeek wanted to pick something up that he forgot. Another great episode and there’s only one left before the series finale. Ahhh!

Glee (Fox) – Episode 6.03 “Jagged Little Tapestry”
Well, this episode was quite something! Kurt is understandably still reeling from Blaine’s blow. Still,
I loved Santana telling Kurt off after he stood up and put a downer on her engagement to Brittany. Whether he was right or wrong, I think we can all agree that interrupting her proposal was the wrong time to be candor with advice, with experience to back it up.
And that’s not Kurt’s only problem. He still is adjusting, as is Rachel to co-leading the glee club. This rapport in this setting is not going to form smoothly overnight so it’s interesting watching them iron out the kinks. As for the others? I loved that Sue, Quinn, and Tina were confronted about their own biases when it came to Becky dating someone who wasn’t like her.
Finally, what a moment it was watching Sue extend her hand to Beiste after it was revealed that she’s transitioning into a man. I loved that tonight really focused on relationships and being able to depend on people you both expect and typically wouldn’t. This was great. And there are nine episodes of Glee left so this is just the beginning of the end. Can’t wait to see what else Glee chooses to touch on in the final season. So far, very touching.
Hart of Dixie (The CW) – Episode 4.02 “The Curling Iron”
Season four is continuing to be a great one, especially as we see that Rachel Bilson’s real life pregnancy is being written into the show. I can’t wait to see Zoe grow in her pregnancy and see how not only Wade acts but the entire town because we all know this is going to be not just Zoe’s baby but Bluebell’s baby. Building up to that is fantastic already and this is just the beginning. Can’t wait for more.
