Note: I will only be reviewing the 2 hour series premiere of The Librarians, not the entire season.

Once Upon a Time (ABC)
Episode 4.10 “Shattered Sight”
Great episode. I loved the back and forth between Charming and Snow. That was awesome. Also. Did we just say goodbye to Elizabeth Mitchell on the show? Is that it? I know this show likes to make the first half of a season one arc and the second half another, so this might be it and I’m actually quite excited about that. Because this show has SO much material to work with that even though I love, love, love Mitchell, I’m ready for them to move onto other things! So, I’m thrilled with this episode and am looking forward to seeing what’s next!

Episode 4.11 “Heroes and Villains”
It was all worth it for Cruella. YAAASSSS!!!! I’m happy that Frozen has come and gone and am super excited for Cruella, Maleficent, and all of the other characters we’ll get to see in the second half of the season which is sure to raise the bar.

Resurrection (ABC) – Episode 2.09 “Aftermath”
Solid midseason finale. Tensions rose and it’s hard to say who’s safe come the show’s return. Everyone is in danger and that’s just the way it should be for a show like this. Job well done!

The Librarians (TNT) – 2 Hour Premiere
“And the Crown of King Arthur” was a fun introduction to this world and these characters and the tone of the show. I love the comedic tone. I love that it has heart. I love the magic. I love that this show is like a mashup of Charmed and Warehouse 13. Episode 2, “And the Sword in the Stone” was even better. I’m always up for a fun and thrilling heist! And this episode did not disappoint! So excited for what’s planned for this series and of course for John Rogers’s upcoming posts about each episode!

Hart of Dixie (The CW) – Episode 4.01 “Kablang”
Solid return for Hart of Dixie. It was great to see Zoe showing Wade that it’s worth the two giving it another shot and then realizing after putting herself out there and after Wade finally came around, that now is indeed NOT the right time…and then the episode ending with Zoe being pregnant!!! WHAT. I can’t wait for the rest of the season beginning January 9th. Great cliffhanger there. What are they doing this season?! Ahhhh!!!

Scorpion (CBS)
Episode 1.11 “Revenge”
Boy did it suck seeing Sylvester go down. I felt so bad for the guy! The team had quite a task this week. Every job is dangerous but this one was probably one of the most dangerous for them. Scary! Solid episode.

Episode 1.12 “Dominoes”
A Christmas themed episode! Yay! And they ended up saving a kid! Great episode! Very emotional and very engaging! Gosh, I love this show. It’s the little show that could and proves it every week. Way to go cast and crew!

Castle (ABC) – Episode 7.10 “Bad Santa”
Lanie telling her family that she’s married to Javier and asking him to go along with the lie! HA! Castle being told his services are no longer needed with the NYPD! AHHHH. What. I wonder what the writers have planned for the second half of this season! So-so episode. Great beginning and ending though!

Ascension (Syfy) – 3 Night Mini Series Event
Wow. Absolutely amazing. To think that there was a secret project where people went to space and they’ve been up there colonizing for over 50 years… pretty outstanding. Then, for there to be a murder. How did a gun get on the ship? Whoa! What’s up with Christa who can see visions of the past, present, and future? The bombs, sex, and secrets will rock you and the writing and cast will have you on edge for every word.

The first night was good but the second night was fantastic and the conclusion was bananas! I absolutely loved this mini series and after that ending, if they don’t bring this back for a second series, I am going to be so heartbroken! I was hung up on every word and loved the characters, the world, and the writing. Such great writing. This is another great Syfy story that explores the politics of class and so much more. It all came to quite an unforgettable conclusion.

Tricia Helfer (Battlestar Galactica) is a Syfy classic. Brian Van Holt (Cougar Town) is one of the most versatile actors today. And we all know how much I love Andrea Roth and her former show, Rescue Me and her role was the heart of the innocent nature of this program which I loved. The whole cast was truly fantastic. I have nothing but good things to say about this show. It was awe inspiring and creepy and more than what you thought you wanted. I can’t wait to own this on blu-ray and add it to my collection so I can break it out and watch it many more times.

New Girl (Fox) – Episode 4.11 “LAXmas”
Now this was highly entertaining. One of the best holiday episodes this show has had. Truly laugh out loud comedy the entire way through. The black Annie joke. Nick impersonating an airport employee. Jess being super nervous about her meet the parents date. Coach attempting to go to Hawaii while feeling guilty about skipping out on his family. Everyone getting delayed in the airport. Schmidt and CeCe making their way into a lounge as guests and Schmidt making a fool of himself. Talk about bringing the laughs! Yet another winner in the books!

The Mindy Project (Fox) – Episode 3.11 “Christmas”
In this episode, Mindy thinks Danny is going to propose but when she realizes he’s not, she applies for a fellowship at Stanford. Danny finds out about the fellowship and well, it was interesting to see the moves he made afterward.

Meanwhile, Morgan gets accidentally wrapped up in a blind date meant for Peter which was initiated by Jeremy. Cue this week’s special guest star. It was great to see Julia Stiles guest star, in a comedy no less. That was a treat. What I wasn’t expecting was Peter to play along with it once he found out. Absolutely hilarious!

Also, Wreath Witherspoon has become quite a hit on social media. Go, Mindy!

Marvel’s Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. (ABC)
Episode 2.10 “What They Become”

I can’t really pinpoint too much that was memorable about this episode. It started off strong but then I got distracted and lost interest so eek!

Arrow (The CW) – Episode 3.09 “The Climb”
What! Thea unknowingly killed Sara?!?!?! Wow. I knew she was responsible for something sinister but didn’t know how they’d take the leap so for it to be under Malcolm’s influence was smooth. It makes complete sense. Takes his power/controlling to a whole new level. I was more impressed by how they handled this than the ending of the episode with Oliver being stabbed straight through his gut. Who is waiting for him at the bottom of that cold mountain and how long were they there before Oliver and the League got there?

The Middle (ABC) – Episode 6.09 “The Christmas Wall”
I started cracking up laughing within the first minute of this episode because this is the first year that my family is using a fake tree. So to say that I related to the fake tree shopping opening scene is an understatement. The rest of the episode was just as entertaining and yet another awesome Christmas episode. Great job, writers!

Modern Family (ABC) – Episode 6.10 “Haley’s 21st Birthday”
The family goes out to celebrate Haley’s 21st birthday and what’s awesome is that Haley is actually okay with it! She embraces it. What’s hysterical is her knocking back her first drink and then when everyone stares at her, adding, “Oooo, it burns!” Phil buying Haley a new car was so sweet! Meanwhile, the lengths Claire goes to show that she respects Haley as an adult…ha! Great episode. Another laugh out loud episode in the books.

Black-ish (ABC) – Episode 1.10 “Black Santa/White Christmas”
This episode was laugh out loud funny as Dre tried to become the Santa Clause at work (Ana Ortiz Of Ugly Betty fame guest stars by the way as his competition) while Rainbow tries to get some recognition this Christmas by being in charge of the cooking. We all have the things we are known for and then we all have the things we secretly or not so secretly want to do so it was so much fun to see that come to light here. Great episode!

The 100 (The CW)
Episode 2.07 “Long Into an Abyss”
Whoa! Abigail one upped Jaha! Oh yeah! Not only did she do that but she was taking her daughter’s side, really listening to and seeing Clarke’s side and having faith in her in a way that allowed her to really display that faith and trust. But now Finn’s life could be in danger! Ahhh! The midseason finale is next week! I can’t wait to see what happens!

Episode 2.08 “Spacewalker”
Flashbacks. What. I love how this show every now and then remembers it uses flashbacks (like how The Vampire Diaries every now and then remembers that Diaries is part of the title of the show so they use that storytelling tool to open an episode). Anyway, wow. Finn. Wow, wow, wow. Clarke really stepped up to the plate, as usual but man, she’s always pushed farther and farther and the mid season finale did not disappoint here. It was sad to say goodbye to one member of the hundred but at least it was only one? Great episode! I wish the romantic flashbacks had played more of a part before this episode rather than been mostly contained to this episode but still, great job and I can’t wait for this show to return!

The Vampire Diaries (The CW)
Episode 6.10 “Christmas Through Your Eyes”

Solid episode but not the most exciting mid season finale this show has had. I’m also wondering how much longer this twin coven storyline is going to last because I am enjoying it but would rather it go out on a high than overstay its welcome.

GRACEPOINT (FOX) – Episode 10
Solid conclusion to the series. Though, in going through the Twitter feed for the show, I discovered who the killer was in the original series, Broadchurch and I was going to watch Broadchurch after this but now knowing who the killer is for that series as well, there’s no telling when or if I’ll get to it now. Even though I’m sure the show as a whole is better than Gracepoint. Anyway, I don’t feel like I wasted ten weeks watching this so that’s a good sign. What did you think?
