Verse 1
He says that the hour has come. Up until now, it wasn’t time. Now, it’s time. Time for what? Time for Him to be known and rejected to the point where he is crucified.

Verse 2
Jesus has authority to give life so even though you think you’re in control, in the end, Jesus has all of the authority over your life.

Verse 4
Jesus did what He needed to do on earth & His job on earth is done.

Verse 5
Bring me back to my original state. That’s Jesus’s purpose for us.

Verse 8
They knew that God sent Him & the disciples…

Verse 11
Unity, being on one accord is key.

Verse 18
Just as Jesus was sent into the world, we were sent too. We are appointed to do the will of God.

Verse 20
Now, He’s not just talking about the disciples but ALL believers.

Verses 21-23
The world will believe in us when we stand AS ONE, in unity.

Verse 26
The way to unity is love.

– Jesus prayed to God for his disciples, for us, for God to keep, protect, and sanctify us from the world now that Jesus has equipped us and we have understood and accepted the truth. He also asked for God to let us be where he is so that we may see his (live in his) glory. Isn’t that awesome?! That’s awesome.

Tomorrow…John 18.
