Verse 2 Notes:
He’s telling the disciples that they’re in.

Verse 3 Notes:
“If” as if he’s explaining to them not “if” as a question. Ex. “If I do eat the cookie, there will be none for you but if I don’t eat the cookie, there will plenty for you. This is why I can’t eat the cookie.

Verse 8 Notes:
People want what they want, how they want it. They made up in their minds what they have envisioned for their savior and nothing fit what was right in front of them.

Verse 13 Notes:
What are we asking for? Jesus asked God for others to be healed, set free, delivered, broken from bondage, have their ears & eyes opened, etc… is what you are asking for all about you or for others? What you ask for from God that lines up with him and his purpose, it will be given to you.

Verse 16 Notes:
He will ask for something that will benefit you to benefit others.

Verse 30 Notes:
Satan is on his way.

You have control and you have a choice. Don’t be consumed by negativity, don’t let your heart continue to be troubled. Believe in God and what He has in store for you and His people. The Holy Spirit is residing in you for a purpose.

Jesus did exactly what the father told him to do. What are you doing?

Tomorrow…John 15.
