Last week, I shared a post on my favorite podcasts. You might be surprised to learn that I wasn’t familiar with #1 New York Times bestselling author, Brandon Sanderson until I started listening to the Writing Excuses Podcast which he is a co-host of with Dan Wells (Partials), Mary Robinette Kowal, and Howard Tayler. He was on my radar before, thanks to Comic Con but not until I began listening to the podcast did I become more and more interested in his work.
I’m excited to share that this year, I will finally get to reading his work, beginning with Steelheart, book one in the Reckoners series which will lead to its sequel, Firefight which releases TOMORROW, January 6, 2015.
The audiobook from Audible Studios will release simultaneously and is narrated by MacLeod Andrews who also narrates Steelheart. Every year, I get more and more into audiobooks and I have a feeling this year is going to be my favorite year yet. I can’t wait to start things off with Firefight.
