12 Monkeys is the best new drama on Syfy so if you’re not watching, you need to get caught up immediately. The show is only two episodes in and you can watch both episodes now on Syfy.com without any logging in of any kind which is always awesome.

If you haven’t seen the movie, Twelve Monkeys which the show is based on, you don’t need to watch it beforehand (but it’s amazing so you should!!!). Anyway, the show is phenomenal. The cast is dynamite. Seeing Kirk Acevedo sure makes me miss Fringe though. And of course seeing both Aaron Stanford and Noah Bean make me miss Nikita but I sure am proud of Stanford for leading his own show. That is pretty darn cool to see. And Amanda Schull. How far she has come from the beloved Center Stage and my favorite teen drama, One Tree Hill! I am just so, so happy for this cast. They are so talented and so perfect together. Amazing casting!

Aside from the cast, the writing is sharp. It’s absolutely brilliant. Of course they’re working from brilliant material but it’s not easy adapting something and adapting a time travel movie to TV is probably ten times harder so bravo to the writers room because you guys are nailing every single line. I could go on and on but instead, I’ll leave you with a look at tomorrow night’s all new episode.
