7 Authors I Need to Catch Up on Before YallWest

I am planning on attending YallWest this April and looking at the author lineup, I need to do quite a bit of shopping and reading before April so that I can not only be prepared with plenty of books to have signed but also be caught up on certain works so that I can gush appropriately! This list is much longer than seven but I’ve condensed it to keep it simple. Check it out:

Allegiant by Veronica Roth
Yeah, I’m scurred. I don’t want to be disappointed. And so I’ve been holding this off. But I need to put my foot down, let other opinions fall away, and read this!

Unremembered by Jessica Brody
I started reading this book two days before it was due back to the library. I have a habit of taking out a bunch of books from the library, renewing them until I can no longer renew them, and maybe reading one or two of the books that I had taken out. So, I didn’t finish Unremembered and would like to because I’m very curious about where this story is going. Hopefully it remains exciting and I continue on with the series but at least I know I’m enjoying the first book.

Champion by Marie Lu
I’m pretty sure I purposely take forever to read Marie Lu books because I love the world she’s created and I don’t want it to end. But I need to move on already ha ha so I need to read this asap.

Mortal Heart by Robin Lafevers
I’ve recently read and loved Grave Mercy and I’m reading Dark Triumph now, itching to finish and read Mortal Heart to see how this trilogy concludes.

Day 21 and Homecoming by Kass Morgan
I enjoyed The 100 as described in my review here and have absolutely loved how the TV adaptation has grown into its own incredible body of work as I talk about here. Now I’m ready to read Day 21 and the upcoming Homecoming!

UnSouled and UnDivided by Neal Shusterman
I was waiting to get UnDivided before I started reading UnSouled because I know I’m going to zoom through both. So having received UnDivided during Christmas, I can now get my read on!

Serpent’s Kiss and Winds of Salem by Melissa de la Cruz
I read and enjoyed Witches of East End and also really enjoyed the Lifetime TV show adaptation which I recapped over at OMFGTV. Now it’s time to catch up with the series.
