The Walking Dead (AMC) – Episode 5.07 “Crossed”

Solid episode. I absolutely loved the “street walkers” as Chris Hardwick put it on The Talking Dead. Best of all? It didn’t feel like filler even though looking back, it kind of felt like that given what we know is happening in the midseason finale – which is what we’ve been waiting to see happen for 2-3 weeks now. I can’t believe the midseason finale is next week! Looking forward to it!

GOTHAM (FOX) – Episode 1.10 “Lovecraft”

I can’t get over Selina and Bruce living in the same home (even if momentarily). It is so cool. Anyway, Selina found herself in quite some trouble this week, being chased with Bruce not far behind. I love that Bruce is being introduced to more pieces of her gritty world. Love, love, love it. Love the kiss between Selina and Bruce knowing their history!!! Ahhh! Gordon was also on quite a mission this week. Wow, this week really was good!

SCORPION (CBS) – Episode 1.10 “Talismans”

This week brought for a very engaging hour. I loved meeting Walter’s sister. Loved the romance development between Happy and Toby. Loved seeing Jake McLaughlin (Believe) in this episode! There was so much about this episode that was great. Definitely a winner!

Castle (ABC) – Episode 7.08 “Kill Switch”

“You’re not a priest.” – Perp

“No, but I can take your confession.” – Kate

Talk about raising the stakes! From sharing a warning with a possible victim to a bomb on the victim turned perp to a virus and more! My goodness! Now there’s a way to make up for the meh episodes of this season. Talk about tension! This week’s episode had my heart racing.

The Voice (NBC) – Episodes 7.20 “Live Show”

I haven’t been watching the last two weeks but here are my thoughts based on looking at The Voice website and seeing who’s been eliminated. One. I cannot believe we live in a world where Chris Jamison is still in this competition and Taylor Phelan isn’t. But the last time I watched this show I determined that I wasn’t rooting for anyone on Team Adam anymore so…

Two. I can’t believe we live in a world where Ryan Sill is still on this show and Anita Antoinette isn’t. Taylor John Williams is okay. So I guess if I had to choose someone from Team Gwen, it would be him. DaNica and Luke are left on Team Pharrell and I’m still rooting for DaNica. My final two choices would be DaNica from Team Pharrell and Craig Wayne Boyd from Team Blake. I wouldn’t be surprised if Craig Wayne Boyd won this season. I’m honestly not all that thrilled with who’s left as a whole on the show though so I won’t be reviewing this show any longer. I don’t have the drive to watch in a timely manner if at all anymore this season. Who are you rooting for if you’re still watching?

New Girl (Fox) – Episode 4.09 “Thanksgiving IV”

Watching the guys create a singles party for Thanksgiving was absolutely hilarious! It looks like Jess is making progress with the teacher though, even if it means taking one step back.

The Mindy Project (Fox)
Episode 3.09 “How to Lose a Mom in Ten Days”

I was waiting for an episode like this! It was only a matter of time when Mindy would take action to ease open this mother-son relationship for her. I absolutely loved it! One of the most engrossing episodes this season. Great job!

19 Kids & Counting (TLC) – Episode 14.17 “Amy’s Nashville Dreams”

I love Amy Duggar just as much Jim Bob and Michelle’s family but love means hearing what you don’t want to hear sometimes to get to the truth and do what needs to be done. I think the truth is that Amy cannot sing and what needs to be done is her staying in Arkansas and living her life out there rather than moving to Tennessee to try and pursue a singing career.

That said, I barely made it through half the episode before I deleted this episode off my DVR. It hurts watching someone pursue something they’re not good at knowing what the outcome will be. Which is not a country star or whatever kind of singer in the spotlight she is trying to be. For a season finale, this episode was very disappointing. Though I am looking forward to more of the actual 19 kids and more in an all new season next year!

Red Band Society (Fox) – Episode 1.09 “How Did We Get Here?”

“Do you remember what I told you this morning?” – Nurse Jackson

“That I shouldn’t have sex because I’ll have a heart attack and die.” – Kara

“No. I said you were going to get hurt. My job is to protect your heart, Kara. In every possible way. “ – Nurse Jackson

Mandy Moore stole the show this week. She is just so fantastic. Loved the pop star joke too! As for everyone else? Just as phenomenal. Every week really tugs at my heart and this week was no exception. Is Emma gone for good? Is Jack going to pursue Nurse Dobler or his ex? Will Jordi make enough money in time for his emancipation to be processed?

I have so many more questions and hope most of them get answered in the series finale next week as the show has not been picked up for a second season nor have more episodes been ordered for this season…which is a shame because this show is really a gem. I’m going to miss this show the most out of all of the freshman series that have been cancelled so far.

Haven (Syfy) – Episode 5.12 “Chemistry”

The woman who claims to be from the CDC is in all actuality Audrey’s mother?! What?! Talk about a cliffhanger!!! Wow. Wow. Wow. Wow. I cannot wait to see what next week’s episode brings! Especially before the hiatus! The second half of this season is going to be wild!

Z NATION (Syfy) – Episode 1.12 “Murphy’s Law”

I love that Murphy was kidnapped by people who knew what an asset he was, people who were willing to exploit that. And then for the kidnappers to have a plan that involves Murphy running through a crowd of zombies on drugs?! Ha! This was a great episode! I’m glad the group knows about Murphy’s abilities. Can’t wait to see what’s in store for the season finale!
