* Reviews May Contain Spoilers

Once Upon a Time (ABC) – Episode 4.08 “Smash the Mirror”

This week was a two hour episode and honestly, this could have easily been condensed to a one hour episode. This was highly unnecessary. The second hour was much more important than the first. Enough said.

The Walking Dead (AMC) – Episode 5.06 “Consumed”

Read my recap & thoughts on the latest episode of The Walking Dead over at OMFGTV.com.

GOTHAM (FOX) – Episode 1.09 “Harvey Dent”

Selina is temporarily staying with Bruce Wayne? WHAT. This is SO cool. I loved this development. It was hilarious and equally frustrating watching Alfred throw Selina shade though! Rude. I know he knows what Selina is capable of but still, my goodness! I’m especially excited for next week’s episode based on the promo! Whoa!

SCORPION (CBS) – Episode 1.09 “Rogue Element”

This week’s episode was borrrriiinnng! Certain scenes stood out as engaging and entertaining but as a whole, this episode just didn’t cut it for me. Remember how I said that I’d stop watching this show if it didn’t start becoming serial? Well, I’ve fallen for these characters now so if the show gets picked up for a second season, I’m going to watch at my leisure without reviewing the show from week to week and we’ll see if my interest fades while watching on my own schedule or if it grows. Only time will tell!

Castle (ABC) – Episode 7.07 “Once Upon a Time in the West”

The best thing about this week’s episode was Tyler Hilton appearing in it. That’s really all I have to say about this week.

The Voice (NBC) – Episodes 7.18 “Live Show”

I haven’t seen these live performances yet! Still sitting on the DVR. 🙁 Note that I am skipping the results episodes though. Who has time for that?!

Marvel’s Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. (ABC)
Episode 2.08 “The Things We Bury”

I didn’t find this episode all that engaging but I was happy to see Tim DeKay (White Collar) appear again!

New Girl (Fox) – Episode 4.08 “Teachers”

Schmidt trying to do the laundry after being called about by Nick was absolutely hysterical. And then Winston measuring the width of his smile! Ha! Laugh out loud funny! And Coach asking where Jess’s lipstick went after the kiss at her teacher’s conference! Ha!!! Also, can we take a moment to acknowledge Lisa Bonet guest starring!!!! WHAT. You know your show is all of that when you get Lisa Bonet!

The Mindy Project (Fox) – Episode 3.08 “Diary of a Mad Indian Woman”

“All along, the person I was mentoring was me!” – Mindy

“No. That’s stupid. TJ. The person you were mentoring was TJ.” – Jean

Gone Girl and Black-ish references, oh yeah! Then the eye patch! The pink, sparkly eye patch Mindy sports after getting accidentally kicked in the face by Danny after a tickling fest. I could not stop laughing.

This week, Mindy is faced with the reality that her practice could be in jeopardy and lose its affiliation with the teaching hospital if she doesn’t start…teaching. But Mindy has a hot date with Danny so she sends in Tamra to cover. Ha! Only Dr. Jean catches on and Mindy must go! While Mindy’s away teaching (how fun was that seeing Mindy as a Grey’s Anatomy mini me haha), Danny finds Mindy’s diary. Oh boy.

He starts reading the diary, with a glass of wine! Ha! But then Morgan shows up at the apartment and spooks him and Danny spills the wine on the diary! Oh my goodness! The rest of the episode is just as laugh out loud funny and made for yet another hysterical episode in the books!

19 Kids & Counting (TLC) – Episode 14.16 “A Reveal to Remember”

Josh and Anna have finally made it to the gender reveal party of Anna’s sister, Priscilla and it’s a girl! After the party, they go into the city (Chicago) with Priscilla and her husband and they go the tourist route as well as go camping. Along the way, Anna decides to take a pregnancy test (one of many she’s taken since she last delivered). It comes up negative and Anna was slightly disappointed but as they always say, it’s in God’s hands. This was a great road trip and I’m excited to see a sneak peek of Jessa’s wedding next week in the season finale!

Arrow (The CW) – Episode 3.07 “Draw Back Your Bow”

Arrow’s got a new fan and it’s an obsessed stalker who turns to killing to get Oliver’s attention! Yikes! This week’s episode seemed kind of 1) overdue and 2) filler at this point. What did you think?

Red Band Society (Fox)
Episode 1.08 “Get Outta My Dreams, Get Into My Car”

I haven’t seen this episode yet! Still sitting on the DVR. 🙁

The 100 (The CW) – Episode 2.05 “Human Trials”

My recap and thoughts on this week’s episode of The 100 can be seen at OMFGTV.com.

The Middle (ABC) – Episode 6.07 “Thanksgiving VI”

This year’s Thanksgiving episode had more heart than funny and there’s nothing wrong with that, it simply wasn’t my absolute favorite of the Thanksgiving episodes. That said, it still ranks high. Got to love heart!

Modern Family (ABC) – Episode 6.08 “Three Turkeys”

Seriously, this show is comedy gold and deserves every award it has ever won. Gloria and Jay pretending to go on their Columbia trip which was cancelled. Claire having a back up turkey in case Phil messes up. Mitchell tired of being the mean parent and telling Cam to put his foot down once in awhile. And then all that led up to the family going to Jay’s house to have dinner and what came after that…wow. This show is seriously one of the best comedies EVER. So good.

Black-ish (ABC) – Episode 1.08 “Oedipal Triangle”

I understood this week’s conflict but since I’m not married, I couldn’t relate to it obviously as much as married people do and really laugh as much as I have in previous episodes. But this is a family show so it caters to all kinds of relationship within a family which I love! I did have a laugh, just not as big of a laugh as usual.

The Vampire Diaries (The CW) – Episode 6.08 “Fade Into You”

This was probably the best episode of the season so far. I’ve said it before and I’ll say it again. This show is a master class in world building and bringing their story lines full circle and then some. Just wow. What an amazing episode. Kudos to the writing team, always. They rock.

The Biggest Loser (NBC) – Episode 16.11 “No ‘I’ in Team”

I’m pretty much over this show so when I watched it on Hulu, I noticed that in the first few minutes, it was announced that there were no teams this week and if they lost 50 lbs collectively no one would go home…but I saw a few seconds of the end when I got home and turned the TV on (ready to watch The Vampire Diaries) so I knew that they didn’t reach their goal. I’m busy so instead of watching the entire episode, I jumped ahead to the Comeback Canyon scene and Where Are They Now scenes. I think that’s pretty much going to be my routine for this show for the rest of the season so I won’t be reviewing this anymore.

Grey’s Anatomy (ABC) – Episode 11.08 “Risk”

I absolutely loved how this week’s episode, the midseason finale dealt so much with risk and time and hoping and fearing and boy if this isn’t one of the best episodes of the season, I don’t know what is! Grey’s has still got it, eleven seasons later. Go, writers!

Scandal (ABC) – Episode 4.09 “Where the Sun Don’t Shine”

The Winter finale did not disappoint! Where is Liv?! We have to wait until January 29th to find out!!! Ahhh!!! This show is AMAZING.

GRACEPOINT (FOX) – Episode 8

Guess who’s back?! Tom. Yay! Glad to see another kid didn’t find the same fate as Danny. Speaking of Danny, this week, the Solano family returned back to work/school and it was not easy. No, it wasn’t. And then that ending! Ahh! Great episode! It’s all coming to a head as there are only two episodes left and boy oh boy am I a ball of nerves trying to figure out what’s coming next!

Parenthood (NBC) – Episode 6.09 “Lean In”

Seeing Sarah and Mark at the school play just ripped my heart apart. I miss these two together SO much. GAH. And he’s going to be a father with whoever he’s with now. AGH. My heart. I know other stuff happened but man oh man. I am happy for where these two are at now if that’s where they really want to be but that still doesn’t mean it doesn’t hurt to see Sarah and Mark apart.

Is Zeek going to be okay? Are Joel and Julia getting back together?!?!??!?! Please, yes! Please! Parenthood returns on January 8th so we’ll find out then! See you there!

HOW TO GET AWAY WITH MURDER (ABC)
Episode 1.09 “Kill Me, Kill Me, Kill Me”

It all came to a head this week on How to Get Away With Murder and the bond that Annaliese has with Wes is beyond ridiculous at this point. Murder! I cannot believe that she KNOWS he did it! And is OKAY with it. Wow wow wow wow wow. I am just in complete awe. Everything that we’ve seen up until this point has been so worth it for each episode individual but even moreso now. The execution of this episode, the delivery of this episode was absolutely fantastic. Talk about mind blowing. Talk about worth it. Yes yes yes yes yes. Perhaps my favorite hour of TV this fall.

Haven (Syfy) – Episode 5.11 “Reflections”

This episode was good but I was expecting a lot more after last week, knowing that we only have two more episodes left this year before the midseason hiatus. The next two episodes better rock!

Z NATION (Syfy) – Episode 1.11 “Sisters of Mercy”

The gang ends up in a sister wives man hating commune that Addy falls for, leaving Mack behind. Only Mack can’t leave her when it’s time to jump ship and move on to retain everyone’s sanity. It seems we’re done with Addy and Mack and after their episode not too long ago, I can’t say that I’ll miss them. I think Addy is where she wants to be and will be as fine as she could be in a zombie apocalypse. Everyone deals in their own way. Not saying it’s right but I can totally see why she thinks it’s okay to be where she needs to be and sometimes you need to be in the thick of it before you can fully separate yourself from what’s troubling you. How do you feel about Addy and Mack?
