What to Watch This Weekend: Netflix Edition #14

On the weekend, I recommend movies, documentaries, and/or TV series that I found through Netflix or started watching because it was conveniently on Netflix and I had been meaning to get to that movie/documentary/TV show for some time. This is post #14. Posts 1-13 can be found here. If you have any recommendations, feel free to leave a comment!

Documentary

Talhotblond

This true-crime documentary follows a cyberspace love triangle that ended up sending one member to prison and another to the grave.

Wow. I was not expecting that twist! Can’t believe this is real life. Wow.

TV Show

Arrow

Based on DC Comics’ Green Arrow, an affluent playboy becomes a vengeful superhero, saving the city from villains armed with just a bow and arrows.

I always wanted to like this show but I had to get past how cheesy it is, even for The CW. Once I got past that, I was on board. It took me awhile to buy what they were selling but eventually, I bought it. It’s worth it. So if you have doubts like me, go on and watch it.

Movie

Red Dawn

When North Korean military forces invade American soil, Marine Jed Eckert and a group of his teenage pals elude capture and organize a resistance.

Don’t go out of your way to see this movie. If you have nothing better to do, put this movie on but it is by no means a must see movie. It’s good enough to watch at least once.
