Back in 2009, when my blog was still fairly new, I interviewed Natalie Archer who is actually the same age as me so I knew it would be a fun, relaxed, and passionate interview. There’s just something about talking with peers (that you’re drawn to) that’s so…kindred spirits.
I didn’t know until shortly before the interview that Natalie not only was a great actress but she also sang. And not only did she sing but she sang well. Not only did she sing well but she was truly passionate about music. You can tell which singers and musicians are truly passionate about music and she wasn’t messing around. Music holds a great part of my heart so that’s what ultimately did it for me. I’ve loved the music she’s made since, especially as Archertown with her husband, Kyle. Go newlyweds! So, we’ve kept in touch over the years but this year get well cards have been added to our usual way of communication.
Recently, Natalie was diagnosed with Acute Myeloid Leukemia. There’s not a lot I can do thousands of miles away but one of the things I can do is spread the word about her donation page, as you can imagine, her medical bills are now out of this world. If you are able to give to her fund, a GoFundMe page has been set up here. If you are unable to give but can spread the word, pray, keep Natalie and her family in your thoughts, anything is so very much appreciated. I can’t really put into words all of the things that I want to say but to those helping out in any way that they can…thank you, thank you, thank you.
