Tonight, Emmy Award nominee Max Greenfield can be seen in not only an all new episode of New Girl but also an all new episode of The Mindy Project!

In the NEW GIRL episode “Big News,” Jess (Zooey Deschanel) and Nick (Jake Johnson) scramble to keep their break-up a secret from the loftmates. Meanwhile, Schmidt (Greenfield) tutors Cece (Hannah Simone) for her G.E.D. and Winston (Lamorne Morris) passes his police academy entrance exam, demanding that the gang throw him a “Honey Roast.”

My 3 Favorite Schmidt Moments on Tonight’s New Girl:

1. Schmidt taking it upon himself to tutor Cece after he catches her studying at the bar… immediately schooling her on notecards, Perth, and more.

2. Schmidt throwing Cece shade when Jess shows up at Cece’s place to talk to Cece – alone and Schmidt feels left out. My favorite dig? Schmidt basically saying that Cece doesn’t know how to spell.

3. Schmidt’s reaction when he finds out from two of the others that Jess and Nick broke up. Don’t worry, I won’t spoil his reaction for you. 🙂

In the THE MINDY PROJECT episode “Think Like A Peter,” Mindy (Mindy Kaling) reacts to Danny (Chris Messina) ending their secret romance by taking on Peter’s (Adam Pally) approach to relationships: date everyone. The method appears to work when Mindy meets a handsome stranger (guest star Greenfield).

My 3 Favorite Max Greenfield Moments on Tonight’s The Mindy Project:

1. Greenfield’s character (not Schmidt) being charmed by Mindy and asking her out.

2. Greenfield’s character mistaking Mindy for a parent.

3. The truth about Greenfield’s character fully coming to the surface.
