You’ve seen Harvey Guillen on screen in The Internship and ABC Family’s Huge to name a few (and right here on this blog when I last interviewed him) but now you can help him behind the scenes as he raises funds for Cupcakes, an independent LGBT romantic comedy Guillen created, wrote, and stars in! The film also stars Josie Loren (Make It Or Break It, 17 Again), Maiara Walsh (Switched at Birth, Desperate Housewives), and Francia Raisa (The Secret Life of the American Teenager, Bring It On: All or Nothing). Expect cameo appearances from many of young Hollywood as well!
There are EIGHT days left to donate! While unemployment has not been fun for me, I’ve still managed to donate what I can and am excited to see this campaign continue to rise to its goal! To give, visit Indiegogo. For more information, visit cupcakesthemovie.com.
I also want to mention another campaign going on involving Amber Ross of Everlife. As you know, Everlife was my very first interview here on Hollywood the Write Way, so I will never not update you guys on them! Amber is illustrating her second children’s book, The Littlest Clockwork (just in time to read to her first child, a boy due this March! Congrats!) which is being self published by writer, Ryan Dunlap.
There are TWENTY days left to donate! I do plan to give soon and hope you all can too! To give, visit the campaign page on Kickstarter.
