Yesterday, the first photo was released of Daniel Day Lewis as President Abraham Lincoln in the upcoming film, LINCOLN directed by Steven Spielberg. Can anyone say Oscar for the makeup? Wow. Just wow.

“Lincoln” focuses on the last four months of the president’s life and the political strategizing he undertook at the close of the Civil War to ensure that slavery would be forever outlawed.

I don’t know about you, but I am so excited to see this film! I was excited before this photo was released, as a big fan of anything that Spielberg is involved in. But this, this just makes me even more excited.
