While I have the same feelings about Black History Month as Morgan Freeman, I am very intrigued with one of the films that the Documentary Channel has lined up for their “Best of Black Documentary Cinema” programming this month.
This Tuesday night at 8pm, “Nobody Knows: The Untold Story of Black Mormons” will air and if that title doesn’t intrigue, I don’t know what does! I am itching for this documentary to air. How about you?
This special, “Best of” celebration also marks the one-year anniversary of “Black Documentary Cinema” on Documentary Channel which showcases the work of black documentary filmmakers on the last Tuesday of every month. So it doesn’t end this month! The last Tuesday of every month, you’ve got a black documentary to look forward to. Mark it on your calendar! I know I have!
Documentary Channel is primarily available through satellite television services DISH Network (Channel 197) and DIRECTV (Channel 267).
