This past Friday night, Grammy-award winning artist and actor, Common joined style experts at the Parsons Panel Discussion on the intersection between facial hair styling and fashion design.

Common joined panel moderator, Simon Collins, Dean of the School of Fashion at Parsons and panelists; professional ice hockey player Sean Avery, designer Richard Chai, and Editor in Chief of L’Officiel Hommes, Timothee Verrecchia. Topics discussed included how facial hair reflects your personality and how fashion and humility are more connected than you might expect.

Following the discussion, Common hosted the unveiling of the pop up shop, Blind Barber for Gillette at MILK Studios which offered haircuts, trims and facial hair styling services using the new Gillette Fusion ProGlide Styler throughout Fashion Week.

Hollywood the Write Way correspondent, Eboni (pictured below) was there to witness it all and had a great time at the event. She definitely took home a few good tips to share with her man! Valentine’s Day may be over but that’s no excuse not to keep it fresh!
