This September, which is National Literacy Month, Lionsgate, in cooperation with Scholastic and the Scribd App, will let book worms read not just chapter 1 but chapter 2 in its entirety of Suzanne Collins’ bestselling book for free.

The app will enable users to read the chapters directly from within Facebook and share them on Scribd, Facebook and Twitter. Best of all, those who read The Hunger Games in the Scribd social reader application will be entered in “Read a Chapter, Win a Library” for a chance to win a classroom library of books for one of the public schools served by DonorsChoose.org, an online charity connecting you to classrooms in need. So if you have yet to start reading this mind blowing series, now is the time to jump start that reading!
