“We’re not going after Tinker Bell.” – Dog
From Hawaii to Colorado, the Chapman family is back on this DVD, which leads up to the 200th episode! Six episodes from this past winter are included in this DVD, all of which are just as exhilarating as the next. The Chapmans care about the well being and happiness of families and that drive to help struggling individuals in an effort to bring families together for the best future possible. As Beth says in the special feature, they save these individuals from themselves. And this family, this team is fearless in their mission. The team gives more care and hard love to these criminals than they may have received in a long time, if at all. Beth’s woman to woman technique always gets the emotional side of me! Leeland got quite emotional on one case when his compassion for his Island people got the best of the case.
Following a typical Tim (Chapman) case was also quite interesting. Facebook and enemies of one fugitive help the crew take down another. The crew also goes on quite a journey in putting a stroke victim with an extensive assault history on a better path. This family taking on these missions shows viewers why the Chapmans are one of the most inspiring family teams out there. That is why these episodes will really resonate with the viewers. An episode a day of this series for the rest of your life will inspire you like never before to get out there and help a struggling individual get their life on the positive track. But until every episode is available on DVD, this DVD will suffice!
Bonus Feature:
Dog the Bounty Hunter Best Of (44:04 minutes) – This is a retrospective special celebrating the 200th episode of Dog the Bounty Hunter. The crew has arrested 240+ fugitives since the show began, so the entire family came together at their Hawaii home to celebrate their achievements. The crew talks about some of their favorites. Though one of my favorite segments in the special was when the focus on the sayings of Beth, who has the language of a truck driver. Also showcased… the scariest moments on the busts, Beth’s fashion choices over the years, Dog’s hunches and love for kids, holidays with the family, and more. The episode ends with the family coming together in the living room to watch the 200th episode. This was a great ending to a fun retrospective about a show that has changed so many lives, more than they will ever know. What a fantastic feature!
