“Happily Divorced” centers around Los Angeles florist Fran (Drescher) as she deals with dating after finding out her realtor husband of 18 years (John Michael Higgins) is gay. Fran juggles her new relationships, while still living under the same roof with her ex-husband. The cast includes Fran’s best friend Judi (Tichina Arnold), her parents Dori and Glen (Rita Moreno and Robert Walden) and her flower delivery employee Cesar (Valente Rodriguez).

Happily Divorced was created by Fran Drescher and her ex-husband, Peter Marc Jacobson (“The Nanny,” “What I Like About You”).

I really enjoyed the Pilot episode but then again I am a fan of Fran Drescher, so I might be biased. Though this is easily the most realistic sitcom on television right now, so it is definitely worth the watch for that alone. Who can’t laugh at this sitcom which is based on Drescher’s real life experience with her own husband? So make sure to add Happily Divorced to your TV schedule and be prepared for nonstop laughter!
