I am very excited to help share the news that Syfy has teamed up with KaBoom!, the national non-profit dedicated to saving play for a very special cause!

This coming Thursday morning, Syfy will be providing a charter school in Washington DC with an innovative new Imagination Playground play equipment system! Forty kids from DC Prep will be part of the presentation, along with VIPs and special guests from Syfy, KaBOOM and DC Prep. Syfy really takes their slogan “Imagine Greater” to heart!

With focus on loose parts, Imagination Playground offers a changing array of elements that allows children to constantly reconfigure their environment and to design their own course of play. Giant foam blocks, mats, wagons, fabric and crates overflow with creative potential for children to play, dream, build and explore endless possibilities.

Syfy funded the playground donation with proceeds from a promotional auction held on syfy.com in conjunction with the June 1st Season 2 premiere of the Syfy reality series, Hollywood Treasure.
