Newly released is the trailer for the film based on one of the most talked about books in years and a #1 New York Times best-selling phenomenon by Kathryn Stockett, The Help.

I have yet to read the book, but will be sure to read it this Spring. I am a huge fan of Emma Stone and always love to see how versatile she is with her roles. I hope that others who are used to her comedy will make sure not to skip out on this. This film looks incredible, I can hardly wait until August to see it!

The Help stars Emma Stone (“Easy A”) as Skeeter, Academy Award–nominated Viola Davis (“Doubt”) as Aibileen and Octavia Spencer as Minny—three very different, extraordinary women in Mississippi during the 1960s, who build an unlikely friendship around a secret writing project that breaks societal rules and puts them all at risk.
