It has just been announced that Superman: The Motion Picture Anthology (1978-2006) will release on Blu-ray on June 7, 2011!

This eight-disc collection will include all six versions of the original Superman theatrical franchise:

Superman: The Movie – Original Theatrical, Expanded Edition
Superman II – Original Theatrical, The Richard Donner Cut
Superman III – Original Theatrical
Superman IV – Original Theatrical
Plus Superman Returns

The Collection will include 20+ hours of bonus features which will make up of deleted scenes, 2 documentaries, the never-before-seen original opening to Superman Returns, and tons more.

Superman: The Motion Picture Anthology will be available for $129.95 and will also be available On Demand and for download on iTunes and Amazon on Demand.

That’s a great price for eight Blu-ray discs! If all of this goods wasn’t enough…
