In keeping with the theme of comfort foods, I’d love to share with you a couple of my favorites vegan dishes! Click the title of the dish for the recipe.
Walnut and Pear Crêpe Gateau with Whipped Cashew Cream – This is satisfying, light, and complex. It’s excellent.
Mushroom, Potato and Cabbage Blintzes – This is full-on comfort-food splendor. I made them the first time for friends, and we were all shocked into face-stuffing silence.
Roasted Fennel and Garlic Pizza – I had never worked with fresh fennel before, and it couldn’t have turned out better. The home-made crust recipe from my friend Sybil is epic, as well.
Tempeh-pate-stuffed Mushrooms – This dish is great for parties, for dinner, or for the night when you just need a treat. It’s my favorite recipe.
Apple-parsnip Latkes with Ginger Spread – This is my first really successful, totally original recipe and it is a great way to get to know the parsnip!
