Proving just how real improv comedy is, the pair took what viewers loved the most from Whose Line and brought it to Wisconsin and on tour for an hour of brilliant entertainment. Each performance brought its own unique entertainment and what was shot in Wisconsin is what made the cut on the DVD. The two were much more interactive with the audience than we’ve ever seen before, inviting over two dozen audience members to either come up on stage and assist or interact in the comfort of their seats for about seven scenes. This very basic set up went quite a long way for these guys. They built terrific entertainment for all ages.

One audience member asked the love doctors, “Is it better to be right or be happy?” Their answer…”Being right is overrated.” Of course a night of improv just would not be the same for these two without bald jokes and the infamous Torture Game. But the best part of the night had to be the last portion of the show as Colin and Brad were attacked by mouse traps during their opera scene. These guys are improv geniuses and to see them back together playing off of everything they hear and everything out of sight brought a night of laugh out loud comedy and joy that will stick with me for a long time. These guys are just as hysterical and just impressive as they were on Whose Line! If it’s true that laughing helps you live longer, it would be smart to play anything with Colin Mochrie and Brad Sherwood in it, especially their latest stage show.

The DOs and DON’Ts of Improv – In this feature, Colin and Brad share their advice on how to be good at improv. They not only give viewers the Dos and DONTs but why to do or not do these things. They also give two demonstrations which leads up to quite a lot of advice. The pair discuss listening, building onto audience ideas, blocking, setting up the scene within 3 sentences, and one of the most important pieces of advice…finding someone you can work with. The two use humour to drive this advice corner which is full of as much laughs as the stage show.

Interviews with Colin & Brad – Brad Sherwood hosts “Inside the Improv Studio” as he interviews Colin Mochrie about his past work and improv. Shortly after, the roles are switched and Colin hosts “Something from Nothing” as he interviews Brad…or does he? It’s quite funny though especially funny seeing how these guys can take anything and make it humorous. Both features are definitely worth the watch!
