Witness the action-packed adventure from the very beginning as billionaire inventor Tony Stark dons his invincible suit of iron to battle the villainous Mandarin and the power of his ten deadly rings. With fellow super heroes Nick Fury, War Machine, Scarlet Witch, Spider Woman and Hawkeye at his side, Iron Man faces off against a band of evil foes, including Whiplash…and confronts his own demons, as well. Go behind the armor and get to know the man under the powered suit. This complete Iron Man collection is a must-have for fans of all ages! “Iron Man” stars voice talent Robert Hays (Superhero Movie), John Reilly (TV’s “General Hospital: Night Shift”), Jennifer Hale (Ariel’s Beginning – Voice) and is executive produced by Stan Lee (Spider-Man, Iron Man, The Fantastic Four, The Ultimate Avengers II), Avi Arad (Spider-Man 4, Fantastic Four, X-Men: The Last Stand) and Larry Leiber (Iron Man, Iron Man 2).

In Iron Man: The Complete 1994 Animated Television Series, Tony Stark leads a group of heroes…though exciting as it was to see a team of heroes, the focus was really all on Tony. There was not a sufficient amount of balanced screen time for everyone in the team, therefore I really did not click with any specific team member aside from Tony. What made this series quite comical and quite thrilling was how Tony would continuously put himself in danger for the overall good he was aiming to maintain for the world. The first few episodes are quite cheesy and lack depth and excitement, but it gets better. Season two is quite a solid season. The production value is much better in season two, the writing is much better…it is just better all around. In the series, viewers might be surprised to see The Hulk makes an appearance in an episode. But there is no shock value to the main villain, The Mandarin…as he is just as you would assume a typical villain to be. Like I mentioned, season two is much better. Overall, this is a good series to have for the die hard Iron Man fan and for children who love animation and action but aside from that, you aren’t missing out on anything spectacular. So die hard Iron Man fans, go get your copy on DVD today!
