Leverage returns tomorrow night with all new episodes and I am extremely excited about what’s ahead as new partner, Tara (Jeri Ryan) brings quite the punch to the group!
In order to take down an oppressive sweatshop owner, the Leverage team infiltrates the fashion world. “The Runway Job” is written by Albert Kim and directed by Marc Roskin.
Favorite Quote – Eliot: “Cleavers. I haven’t done that in awhile.”
With Sophie gone, the team complains about her new buddy, Tara joining the team but Tara pulls through big time in the end, even though she challenges Nate all throughout when it comes to following his lead and doesn’t quite listen to the others. The team helps give a factory woman $50,000 to help her parents come to America and get decent jobs by taking down a cruel sweatshop owner. The team had lots of fun making their way into the fashion world to reel in the owner, especially the guys. Alec shot Eliot down with his get up even though Eliot looked gorgeous! Tara turned Caprina, the hottest new designer in the fashion world was a smart and exciting part of the plan but Tara proved to be more of an independent player than a team player…not sure if she is just showing off to make her mark or if she will continue to be a problem while she is on the team. Either way, her time with the team is sure to be entertaining. Why do I have the feeling that Tara could screw over the team and Sophie? Well, by the end of the episode and for the time being, Nate and Tara seemed to have built trust in each other (5-0) and are on the same page, the same wave length. As far as Tara goes overall, she definitely has more spunk than Parker, heck the entire team combined…could she permanently replace Sophie? Back to the job, just as the team thinks all is well and mission is accomplished, they find out that there are ties to the sweatshop that should not be upset. As usual, things take an unexpected turn and you don’t want to miss what they had to do to come out on top!
