Schuyler Fisk Hits Japan

Schuyler Fisk released her debut album, The Good Stuff here in the states in February and on September 2, 2009 it will release under Manhattan Recordings in Japan! The album will feature 2 bonus tracks – “I Don’t Belong to You Anymore” and “Feel the Same.”

Schuyler will also be making her Japanese performance debut at the Brooklyn Parlor, an affiliate of the Blue Note Café, on September 17th through 19th, so definitely catch her on those dates! She will be playing 2 shows per night!

The Good Stuff debuted at #1 on iTunes Singer/Songwriters chart and is also available on Amazon and various music stores.

Schuyler has performed with artists including Sheryl Crow, Rachael Yamagata, Cary Brothers, Priscilla Ahn, and The Weepies. She has also played across North America with the Hotel Cafe tour, with fellow singer-songwriter, friend and collaborator, Joshua Radin, and most recently with Ben Taylor.

She wrote and performed original music for the soundtrack to Zach Braff’s film “The Last Kiss,” she was sought out by producer Reese Witherspoon to write and perform a song for the soundtrack of the film “Penelope,” and this is just the start!
