On Sunday, July 26, 2009 it was all about Dr. Who and Ghost Whisperer.

I was thrilled to be able to attend the Doctor Who panel since I recently became very dedicated to the show. Actor David Tennant, writer/executive producer Russell T Davies, director Euros Lyn, and executive producer Julie Gardner discussed their experiences working on television’s longest-running sci-fi series and answered questions from the audience. Although here is no script in the works for a Doctor Who film that would let David Tennant reprise his role, Tennant is open to returning for the fiftieth anniversary of Doctor Who in 2013! Asked about the new doctor, Matt Smith, Tennant said, “There is no one in Britain who has worked with Matt [Smith] who hasn’t raved about him.” It wad so bittersweet to see David Tennant since it will most likely be the first and last time I will ever see him in person promoting Doctor Who.

Then, I attended the Ghost Whisperer panel where the cast and executive producers presented hints and revelations about the addition of Melinda and Jim’s new baby and more about the new season. Cast members, Jennifer Love Hewitt, David Conrad, Christoph Sanders, Jamie Kennedy, and Camryn Manheim and executive producers Ian Sander, Kim Moses, and P. K. Simonds attended the panel. Since the show is set five years in the future, Ned will be in college and dating, and his mom, Delia will also be dating! I am more excited though for the Jim and Melinda’s baby though! I am so excited for this season!
