I love making first impressions on Big Brother house guests because it is so fun to look back and see how right and how wrong I was about everyone. Below are my first impressions of the Big Brother 11 Cast before the premiere.
Braden
Braden is good looking and knows it and based on the biography at CBS.com it is safe to say that he seems like the guy version of Jen from BB9. CBS.com also says that he plans on winning the game by being two faced. Question is…is that just for the game or is that how he really always is? He’s also single and it wouldn’t surprise me if he hooked up with somebody in the house.
Casey
Right off the bat, I like that Casey is a “fifth grade teacher by day and DJ by night.” Although I hope that he doesn’t try to be the tough rapper guy throughout the season. He needs to conduct himself in a way where he remembers that he is representing whatever school system he is part of. Overall, he seems like a great guy but that is not enough to win BB. Although as great of a guy that he seems to be, I can already see him getting into a screaming argument with someone. We’ll see. I am curious to see what his game plan is and who’s alliance he will be in.
Chima
Chima has some interesting ideas for winning the game. Good ideas include attempting to not be intimidated by the house mates and using her “disarming smile.” The good and bad idea is going into the house with the plan to intentionally create and then break alliances. Unless somebody crosses you or another in your own alliance, there is no need to break up your own alliance. So if that is the plan, that is not smart. If she plans on playing all sides and then breaking alliances apart as it should benefit her… it can work for or against her. She has to be really smart about how she does that so nobody finds out. I wonder if she has both the physical and mental parts of the game down. Her mind is obviously at work but what about the physical challenges? We will see.
Jeff
Jeff is SO incredibly good looking and single (if only I were his age). He says that he wouldn’t rule out a “showmance” but I don’t see any girls in the house worth his time. His motto is “treat others as you’d like to be treated,” but I wonder if he would rule out a “showmance” just to have another house guest keeping him safe in the game. He says that he doesn’t want to embarrass his family while in the house so that most likely will not be a possibility…but I am wondering if he really thinks he won’t have to get his hands dirty to move farther in the game… not that this hasn’t happened before but it is rare. He’s an advertising salesman so he needs to use those skills to sell himself to everyone and get on everyone’s side. If he plays the likable, not as strong mentally/physically character, he could stay in the game longer.
Jordan
Jordan is very outgoing and “likes to hang out with her female friends — all tools she’ll use to gain the trust of her fellow Housemates” so I am expecting a lot of backstabbing from her. That’s why I love the BB house! It will be fun to watch how all of this will plays out and what else she has up her sleeve.
Kevin
Kevin has a whole lot of game going on… First off, “he describes himself as ghetto, fabulous and inappropriate” so that right there will split the house on who likes him and who doesn’t. Then, CBS.com writes that he doesn’t have a temper but he can get bitchy. That is not the problem, the problem is that “he knows how to find the slightest flaw in a person and magnify it for all to see.” Yikes. Based off this, I believe that it will be easy for him to turn on his own alliance. Lastly, “he’s also not too proud to throw a few battles if it means winning the war” which I would do too if I were in the house. Seem weak so people think you are not a threat and keep you in the house, perfect! I like him. He has a good game plan but his personality can be of help or it can hinder his game. Only time will tell.
Laura
Laura thinks that “her determination and sassy, outgoing attitude will get her far in the game.” Sorry hun, that’s not enough. Skimping around in your bikini is not enough either. Wait, it gets better…”She can’t stand when people attempt to make her feel inferior.” She is in shape so she is a strong player physically but mentally she is no threat. Although she is “unafraid to hurt feelings, lie or manipulate in order to win” to we’ll see in time how much game she really has. Something else I found interesting is that the hardest part for her will be abstaining from sex. Ummm not if she hooks up with Braden.
Lydia
She seems like a great girl. The one thing that she is going to have to get over is liars, because apparently they get under her skin. This is the BB house. There will be lying. I don’t have much to say about her because she seems really cool but aside from that I don’t know what her game plan is. Time will tell.
Michele
Michele is a Jersey girl like me so I love her already. She has a Ph.D. in Neuroscience and being a neuroscientist will definitely be an advantage. Although it can be a negative if people realize how smart she is. Michele’s motto in life is “don’t sweat the small stuff” just as I would say mine is but she struggles with this motto so I hope that she can keep her head up in the game.
Natalie
Natalie is trouble and a definite threat. She “has no problem lying, cheating and stealing to win the game” so there is bound to be good TV from her alone. “She’ll do whatever it takes to keep the heat off her and turn it onto others” and that could backfire but we’ll see. “She’s also a big poker player” and those poker skills will definitely come into play. I think she is a force you don’t want to mess with and we will see how far this gets her! I just hope she doesn’t play the game too fast and paces herself.
Ronnie
Ronnie is a geek and not because of his looks. He loves Sci Fi, especially Star Wars, video games, he’s a champion when it comes to speech and debate, and he’s smart. That’s all well and good but I know nothing about his game plan so I will have to figure out what I think of him after July 9th.
Russell
Russell is really cute. He’s single too. Although he is “loud and brash” and this can help or hurt him in the game. His “biggest pet peeve is people who don’t think before they act, but only because he’s made mistakes while doing just that” which is actually one of my pet peeves too. We will see how this plays in as time goes on. I like Russell a lot. I don’t know what his game plan is but if I were in the house, he’d be welcome in my alliance.
