Narrator: For endings, as it is known are where we begin.
The introduction focused on Lily and was not as entertaining as the past two episodes but still entertaining. I enjoyed seeing everyone celebrate Chuck’s half birthday. I knew that Chuck and the gang would be at the same place that Lily and Vivian went to celebrate Chuck’s half birthday and there would be a case to solve from there. I never could have imagined what the case would be. It took me off guard how one of Lily and Vivian’s enemies was eaten by a shark and then the two sisters took on their role their enemy once had. The gang touching the murdered enemy was entertaining since Chuck told off the victim who bad mouthed Lily & Vivian. When Lily & Vivian came in to ask Olive about their costumes, I laughed so much when Olive talked in AIM and Emerson said, “She got a case of the dumb a-s-s.”
The mystery of who the murderer was did not last long. I guess that is because it was more about Lily and Vivian’s comeback. The big questions were…would they pull it off and would they go on the road in Europe? Apparently the first question did not matter since no one was focused on their performance, moreso them not being murdered during the performance and since Vivian found out what Lily did. It is great to know that Lily & Vivian ended up going on two worldwide tours…even better was the last 4 minutes of the episode where everything wrapped up so nicely! The Lily, Vivian, and Chcuk reunion was just spectacular, even though it was seen for just a moment. Emerson’s daughter coming to him was long over due and another great moment.
It was great to see special guests, David Arquette and Michael McDonald whom I loved on Mad TV (especially in the Lorraine skits). It was also great to see Wilson Cruz share the small screen with Kristin Chenoweth. The end of Pushing Daisies did not come up short in any way and I am so happy to say that I am a fan of Pushing Daisies. Best of luck in the comic series.
