Pushing Daisies: Water & Power Review

The final 3 episodes of Pushing Daisies will begin to air Saturday, May 30th at 10/9c over three consecutive Saturdays and today I will be reviewing the second of the three episodes.

*Review May Contain Spoilers*

Last week’s episode was all about Olive and this week’s episode was all about Emerson. We got to see young Emerson in the introduction. The truth that Emerson has a daughter (Penny) came out and I am glad because Olive, Chuck, and Ned were very willing to help Emerson find Penny.

I cannot believe Emerson took Stingwell’s girlfriend, Lyla in the past. Stingwell’s murder left him in quite an interesting position. It left Emerson in a harder position since Lyla was the one who took her and Emerson’s daughter, Penny. Thankfully for Emerson, his pop-up book is getting published, so hopefully that will bring Penny right to him. I wonder how Ned and Chuck did not touch each other sitting in the trunk of Lyla’s car when they were spying on her. Anyway, special guest David Arquette appeared in this episode again as Randy.

It was quite funny when Chuck and Ned were cheering their glasses to Olive & Randy when Olive had just broken up with Randy. This leaves things open between Olive and Ned even though it seems Ned is still very serious with Chuck. Time will tell what happens. This was such a great episode and I look forward to watching the series finale.
